This is by far my husband's and my favorite restaurant. The best, fresh food in the area ! Very friendly owner and staff providing great service. We ate here over the summer at least 12 times with our friends or just us. Not one time...did we have a bad meal. Can't wait to go back again March when they reopen for the season !More

Food was good, service was excellent! Outdoor seating available too which is great. Can’t say enough positive things about the staff and service.

Can't really say anything bad about the food. Three out of four of us had the haddock and it was good. $17.00 was kind of expensive but I guess it's comparative to the rest of the places in the area. I do love a stuffed...artichoke but there is no way I will ever pay $11.00 for one.More

New owners at this Sylvan Beach establishment. I went there this summer and was disappointed in the quality. Too much sauce and cheese on everything. Salads were all iceburg and over dressed. Pasta was not drained thoroughly and swimming in water. No bar, but they...serve wine and liquor. Nothing special here, very ordinary and generic Italian American food. Tacky decor with plastic table clothes and paper napkins. Food was underwhelming at best. I hope they can improve once they gain experienceMore

The moment you step inside...That's Italian: the smell, the ambiance...just perfect ! The wine list was impressive. We enjoyed an imported Montelpuciano d'Abruzzo. The food was excellent. Good variety, good portions, good presentation. And the service was delightful.....We are sure to come back!

Visited on Aug. 15th. Seated in the side dining room. Something wrong with AC unit in ceiling. Sounded like dragging finger nails across a blackboard. Very unpleasant. Waitresses were all talking about it. Ordered soup & salad which was unremarkable at best. Wife ordered veal...parmesan and I stuffed eggplant parmesan both getting sides of spaghetti. Dinners came, size being small/average. Wife got her spaghetti side, but our waitress said " she owed me a spaghetti ". More then half way through dinner when she brought it. Bowl consisted of spaghetti, lots of water and maybe some ketchup. Question how could chef let this dish leave his/her kitchen? Waitress asked if everything was ok and said she would bring back another dish.(can count on one hand amount of times I sent back something in a restaurant) She brought back new spaghetti, had finished my dinner, with new dish not looking much better then first. Eggplant dish I had was just ok with very little eggplant cut into very thin ( 1/16" ) slices. Wife said her veal just ok. Waitress new we were upset with meals, noise etc. asked if we wanted to order dessert, coffee etc. Wanted to leave & asked for check. Heard another waitress taking care of table close to us say owner always comes around to make sure diners are happy and enjoyed themselves. No one ever came around. Heard several days later that there were new owners. Should take notice that there is problems and try to solve them. Sorry will not be back and can't recommend.More

we arrived and were greeted very curtly by the new owners wife. She was telling us we would have to wait until a table cleared, yet seated others without reservations before us. Addtionally we had to wait before our waitress even came over, finally ordered...drinks and apps, at that time everything seemed fine. Then, after that we waited about 45- 50 minutes for the rest of the meal to arrive. I was about ready to walk out when the food arrived. My son's food was horrible, tasted like chicken with vanilla pudding on it, the forgot the meatballs I ordered. I have been going for many years, never had a problem. Now, too many to count. I will not be returning. If I were them, I would really take a good look at how they are running the place, as many people I know had the same experiences and will not be returning.More

This place is warm and welcoming! Food is delicious and the service is excellent. Despite a recent set back (fire in the kitchen) they rebuilt as quickly as possible, and are now serving up the same delicious meals! Congrats on overcoming such odds! Love it...there!More

We enjoyed our meals. The outside is inviting and called us in and we weren’t disappointed. The atmosphere is friendly and calming. We loved the music choices of old favorites from the “rat pack”. Soft and relaxing. The food was outstanding. Best eggplant I’ve ever...had. The sauces were full of flavor but not overly salty. The owner came to every table and engaged in brief conversation with all his guests. He seemed to know several groups of people. We spoke to him again on our way out where he thanked us again. He is so friendly. The portions were plentiful, even the silverware was nice quality and heavy. Not the usual cheap feeling that is often used in restaurants. The bathroom was very up to date as well. Honestly I didn’t see anything that needed improving. My friend and I enjoyed our conversation with no pressure to finish and leave. The restaurant was getting busier about the time we left. The parking lot was getting full. I’m glad to see this place doing so well. We will be back and will bring a few friends next time. Great place. Please don’t change a thing.More
