We went to Fuji San while staying at the Quality Inn because it was cold and damp outside and we just didn't feel like going back outside. You can get to the restaurant from the Hotel. We arrived and a young women came to seat us in a mostly empty restaurant. We said we wanted the Habachi seating, we were... More

The food was okay but not special. I liked the service. Not too much atmosphere. I went once for lunch and once for dinner. I enjoyed lunch better

First time at this restaurant, which is in the Quality Inn hotel directly across from Binghamton University (which is in Vestal, NY not Binghamton, NY)! Restaurant was clean. We were promptly seated at the Hibachi grill. Very limited cocktail menu so we just had water to drink. We both had the Seafood Trio. Onion soup was basically just water, a... More

We found this place to be sub-par. The gyoza appetizers were really greasy and not at all tasty. My wife's food was nothing like what she thought it was going to be. My food was OK, just OK. The prices are too high for below average food. This is the only time we'll eat there.

Great food, reasonable prices, friendly staff and good service. I do think their drink selection and stock needs to improve... Last visit they were out of a lot of stuff and I ended up sticking with water because of it which was disappointing. Just as good as Kampai if not better. The only thing Kampai has over Fuji San is... More

Came here around 3 and there was only one other customer. Service was quick. Shrimp tempura and avocado roll very good.

Changed our usual order, for the Hibachi Lunch Special. The onion soup was subtle and devine, the Hibachi Shrimp were plentiful and delicious, as were the Hibachi Chicken. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was quietly comfortable. We love to come back here often.

For us, an enjoyable feature is the skillful knife/cleaver tossing the chefs do when you sit in front of their steel stove tops.

We were excited to eat at a restaurant without having to leave our hotel but unfortunately were let down, more by the service than any other reason. We were told we couldn't eat at the hibachi grill unless three of our four ordered, however right after we decided to pass and take a regular table, another party of two were... More
