Good food and drinks. Expensive in comparison to local food but this is to be expected. Overall a nice place. We had a sun downer and it was awesome

This is a cool jazz club with a lovely terrace just by the seaside where you can enjoy some beers under the light of candles. I totally recommend this chillng place to anyone visiting Stone Town.

Although I only sat down on the terrace, drinking beer under the trees, I am very pleased with the location and the relaxed atmosphere. Enjoyijng the view, with my feet in the sand and even walked the few yards to cool down, knee deep in the blue sea!

Great place to sit and people watch. Great old building with an interesting history. Staircase inside was fantastic. Just a shame you have to wait for so long to be served and then when you order it seems like an age unless you order simple drinks. Beer arrived quickly, anything more complicated took over 15 minutes. We ordered some spring... More

We had cocktails here twice, service is slow but cocktails were great and the location is brilliant sitting right on the beach. Didn't eat so can't comment on the food.

A good spot to relax and watch the world go by on both land and sea. Limited menu but the spicy beef samosas were good and the chips also deserve a mention but forget the vegetable samosas. Delivered late and disappointing when they arrived little to no flavour and very greasy. Perhaps the kitchen was rushed or just having a... More

Lunch on one day and cocktails/sun-downers the next, at this stunning venue, with a view of the day trippers coming and going to Prison Island. The tables are set up on the beach and there is a constant throng of locals walking between the waters edge and the tables (they don't bother patrons, besides the one or two guys trying... More

I think it used to be and British consulate building and gets the name Livingstone from when his body was held there on transportation back to the uk. It's got a nice feel to it, very relaxed and tables are outside on the beach. Food is ok but it's not fine dining. Feels like a place you could spend a... More

Great location ! Terrible service , food not so good ! Very small portions ! Two hours waiting for a starter mains still have to be served , just such a pity ,ask for a freshly squeezed mango juice and you can wait 30 minutes for a diluted thick siropy drink , I don't do sugar so you ask for...
