We booked Captain Bills Lake Cruise one early afternoon. This was an hour ride on Seneca Lake. The captain and his mate take turn speaking about the history past and present about Seneca Lake. It's a nice leisurely ride. We went past two salt plants, private properties and Hector Falls. We had a nice time and you would too.

Located on Seneca Lake this is a wonderful place for lunch or dinner. The prices a re fair and the food is extremely good. The menu covers a wide range and all is prepared fresh. The atmosphere is pleasant and the decor is nautical as you would expect.

Five friends and myself took the lunch cruise with Captain Bill's on the Seneca Lake and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were all friendly and very accommodating and the luncheon was quite plentiful and very tasty. After eating we went up on top to finish out the cruise overlooking the lake and the trip back to shore. The weather was... More

We took an hour tour of the lake on a not so beautiful day. The crew were polite and informative, so we really enjoyed it.

If you want a nice ride on Seneca Lake with a good narrator (who doesn't talk all the time), take a ride on the Stroller. It is a boat from the past, almost like you are riding on Roosevelt's personal boat. It is comfortable, clean and lasts more than an hour.

On a recent Captain Bill’s dinner cruise only management’s attitude was worse than the dining experience. I treated another couple to dinner on Captain Bill’s cruise boat. The entire experience was awful. It was embarrassing for me. As an alternative to posting this review, I contacted the owner in a spirit of helpfulness. My free offer of feedback and recommendations... More

Cruise was average - not something I would do again or recommend. Food is about what you'd expect for a hamburger buffet. Precooked burgers, simple lettuce salad, macaroni and potato salad, beans & some really bad BBQ. Biggest disappointment was desert - Pepridge Farm tea cookies. Singer was ok but got old after 2 hours.

We did a dinner cruise in a Tuesday night. The experience of the cruise with the beautiful scenery is the best part. The food was just ok for $60 a plate but you know it's going to be iffy when you are one of 100 people that need to get your food and it's no doubt prepared in advance. We... More
