We had lunch inside, in a cold March Sunday. We were not expecting much, knowing that Saint Emilion is such a touristic place, and the restaurant looked a bit "for tourists" from the outside. Fortunately, we had a nice surprise. We ordered the day menu and two glasses of wine, everything was very well cooked and served... price was after... More

After touring the monuments this is a perfect spot to enjoy the view. Serves food all day long. For us it was around 4 pm so we ordered a Tartiflette to share and two glasses of fantastic wine.

On a visit to Saint Emilion we stop by for a drink in the sun. This is a great place to spend some time and enjoy the sun while watching all the people walk by. You can't go wrong here!

If you wish to enjoy the rest of your visit to the amazing city of saint emilion don't eat at this restaurant. Both my partner and I ended up with bad stomachs after eating here. This meant we weren't able to completely enjoy our meal booked at logis de cadene as my partner particularly was feeling ill. Never to return.

Beuatifully situated terrace on the square, at the top of the town. Perfect magret de canard, fine wine and friendly service. A great meal.

Great place to sit on the outdoor and have good Bordeaux wines while you enjoy the view from the top of the city. Broad selection of wines to have by the glass or bottle.

Given the location you have to expect to pay a little more than usual. Food is good. Wine is excellent. Service is great (although we've been here before and had to wait for a long time), on this occasion no issues.

Saint Emillion is just beautiful, after a lovely walk we stopped for lunch in the square. Seating was shaded so just perfect as temperature was 35 degrees! The staff were efficient and our drinks arrived quickly followed not long after by our salads, both wine and food were refreshing and very welcome.

As others have stated, it is a bit of a tourist trap restaurant. Service staff were a mix of scowl-faced and friendly people. For location, it can't be beat. Sat right in the midst of Saint Émilion, beside the old church. Food was a bit of a mixed bag. We had the foie gras, which was nice and delectable. For... More
