I ordered 2 serves of hammerhead and chips for just under $26. More than we could eat. I probably should have gone for the gummy for taste and whiteness. But for the money I was very happy.

Fantastic fish and chips - had the gummy shark - beautifully done. Very relaxing eating lunch on the grassed riverbank opposite.

This cafe has the best views in town. Outdoor seating as well as indoor. Food and drinks are superb. The staff are friendly and helpful. Cakes are great - especially the cheesecake and gluten free brownie.

Coffee is expensive and tastes overly bitter and attitude of the staff member we dealt with regarding seating was poor. Based on this we decided not to have meal so can't comment on food.

Fish was watery and tasteless. Pulled pork the same. Chips and salad were OK. Service was not great. Otherwise a clean and bright cafe with nice facilities, shame about the food.

I'm going to try this again. I've been going to Colourpatch for YEARS and I can't recommend their whiting enough. It is magnificent and sustainable. But was horrified over Christmas 2016 to find that they were selling hammerhead shark as one option for fish and chips - and cheap as well (which just encourages people to eat it). Hammerhead sharks... More

Didn't think it was that good. someone told us it was the best one in Augusta but I didn't think so. The chips and fish were average but I think crispy would have been nice and a bit of salt

Enjoyed a fish and chip lunch here with my family. The gummy was nice but otherwise was just average and the chips were overcooked. Convenient location on the river and walking distance to Turner Caravan Park.
