Had a great traditional South African breakfast. Slightly hidden cafe but worth a visit , especially if you are home sick . Friendly staff with traditionally generous dishes while being surrounded by good ol. South African paraphernalia.

We have been going here on and off since it opened. Unfortunately the quality of the food has gone down hill and the place is more creche than cafe. We had the special tasting plate for two, 90% of which came out of a frozen...More

We had a group of about 25, seeing off some friends. This place ain’t like any other restaurant - It’s like a country kitchen. Furnishings are a bunch of kitchen tables and chairs. The place sells African foods and other items. The freezer contains meats...More

They have a big shop of South African related foods (eg. Biltong), we were recommended by my sons friend from school. Definitely coming back. Rustic atmosphere. 😉👍

Lovely atmosphere and tasty food. I was very disappointed with the lamb curry vetkoek though, the vetkoek itself was excellent and the filling very tasty. The pieces of meat was so chewy I had to spit it out in my serviette.

Friendly owners and staff. Delicious coffee and meals. Take Away options, mini-mart too. Very socially oriented place where you can meet with a spouse, friends or work mates. Couch seating and outdoor seating available. Sometimes a bit loud if crowded and music on. Highly recommended

Great spot to enjoy vetkoek, bunny chow, russian & chips or just a nice cup of boere troos. Plenty of SA products for sale. I ordered the Kalahari breakfast and my boy had the ham and cheese with juice. Eggs, bacon, boerewors and bread was...More

For a bit of "home" this place is awesome! A must try is the iced rooibos (red tea) & a slice of peppermint crisp tart... Homely atmosphere & lovely hosts, no wonder we are regulars there!!
