I went on a saturday morning, and the place was packed! We waited for 10' for a table, nothing to complain about. You can see the cooks working in the kitchen from your table, with very fresh ingredients. I tried the egg with bacon and sausages and toasts, and coffee. It was delicious. So were the honemade french toasts my... More

I go there every few weeks and the food is fantastic. The waitress and the waiter before her were very friendly. Great selections at a reasonable price. Cash only place but great food.

This is what a diner should be about. Pleasant staff, quick accurate service. Great tasting food. Don't let the small space fool you. It's worth the wait. We live in PA, but try to frequent The Star Diner whenever we are in town. It's one of our favorite breakfast spots.

I have become a customer at this diner for 4 years now. Whenever I have an appointment at the nearby White Plains hospital, I usually wind up eating at this diner. They serve classic diner breakfast and lunch specials. All at a very reasonable price. The service is quick and very friendly.

Such a great small diner with reasonably priced really good food. I have been coming here since 2013 or so and have never been disappointed.

Just beat the crowd around 10AM on a Sunday. Sat at the counter, hard stools. Service was efficient, food came out fast and VERY hot, always a good sign. Corned beef hash was good, eggs too. Kids loved the French toast. Very reasonable pricing. We'll be back

The food was great, and the service can't be faulted. However, the diner is fairly small and cramped. Also, they only accepted cash payments, which didn't suit me as a foreign business traveller. I might be back, but will probably just order takeout.

Don't be fooled by the unassuming entrance to this historic diner in White Plains. From the outside, you'd probably walk on by if you didn't know it was there. The original entrance is now blocked, but visible, and when you enter, it will be at one end of the original structure. Original tile, counter, booths, and stools will make you... More

if its been one of those days and you just want to say the hell with it...no workout today...no gym... just eat the foods of years ago...you have found it. Greasy, sloppy, no gloves for food handlers or chefs...but it is good food, reminiscent of days when we all ate differently. Flexible. If they have it, you'll get it. Very... More
