We enjoyed dinner at the Painted Fish. It was fried chicken night. Portion was big and chicken was cooked to perfection. Well worth your visit!

I bought several Restaurant .com gift certificates in the winter, when their season is slow. As soon as I came up to the mountains this summer, they posted a handwritten sign in the window that they were not accepting Restaurant.com certificates. They sell them off season, and don't accept them in season. Very deceptive in their marketing. Our check totals... More

My wife and I visited the High Country last weekend to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. I purchased a Restaurant.com certificate for this establishment in advance of our trip as neither of us had visited the restaurant before and we were looking forward to something new on our special trip. Upon arrival we were greeted with a note advising they... More

All four of us ordered something and everything was perfect. That is unusual, there is always 1 person that wish they'd ordered something different. The Shrimp Mac and Cheese was worth every calorie. The owner shared with us the story of how the name of the restaurant came about. You need to ask about that as well as ask to... More

We stopped at this little restaurant at the last moment. The waitress recommended the special (some kind of taco). It was absolutely delicious. Then she recommended the blueberry-goat cheese dessert. Since her recommendation for the entree was so good we decided to give it a try. Oh my - yummmmmmm. All the food we had was unique, fresh and delicious.... More

We were a party of 8 on a Friday night at 6pm with a reservation. our server was prompt and efficient and the food was really good, however, when it was time to pay our bill, we wanted to apply a $25 gift certificate to one couple--we all had separate checks--and the manager was upset at us that we did... For Mothers Day, we went for the first time to this restaurant. My meal was so good, but the key lime pie was the best I ever ate. When the waitress said it had a chocolate crust, I was kind of turned off and almost didn't order it. I'm glad I did though, as it was simply delicious. I will... More
