Excellent restaurant in Black Mountain. Stopped in on our first day on vacation and had a delicious lunch. Sandwiches were excellent. Highly recommend.

Full bar, some nice taps with local beers and ciders, good sandwiches and some limited other entrees. Sunday brunch was particularly good - better than the regular menu.
Seems like a mostly good experience... where did we lose the two stars? I have recently come on as operating partner and welcome your input. If you wouldn't mind, shoot me an email with specifics on how we can improve. Thanks for your time, Newton@BlackMountainAleHouse.com
Went here after a day of looking at houses in the area because of outdoor seating. Surprised at the quality of the food and the gluten free choices. Also good beer, wine, and cider choices.

The Ale House has great food and a fun atmosphere. My friends and I come regularly and particularly enjoy trivia night on Tuesday and pint night on Thursdays. Their mozzarella sticks and marinara are my favorite along with the fish and chips!
