Best biscuits I've ever had. Eggs Benedict with asparagus is my usual favorite order. Fried Chicken was amazing. Their homemade jams are my son's favorite thing. Busy place, plan to wait in line, or sometimes you get lucky!

The biscuit entrees we had were amazing! We had the chicken/cheese/bacon/gravy biscuit and the pulled pork/slaw/BBQ sauce biscuit! The staff was friendly and the place had a great laid-back feel.

The biscuits are flaky, delicious, and huge! The eggs are farm fresh. The sausage and gravy are the best ever. Loads of sausage in the gravy. Large choice of what appeared to be home made jams. Well worth a drive!

Real, homemade cathead biscuits. Kinda pricey but very much worth it. Kind, patient, excellent and calm service. Exactly what you want for breakfast!

We tried them all while in the Asheville area and this place was the winner! Hands down! Good thing we left town, because we would be obese. The biscuits are flaky and luscious (even my gluten-free biscuit) and the gravy was sinfully-good. Fantastic, imaginative combinations abound,...More

The distance is 1.1 miles straight down State Street. It is a 20 to 25 minute leisurely walk. 4 minutes by car or if you are a very fast runner.
