Excellent food, friendly staff, charming outdoor setting in good weather. The restaurant is somewhat hidden, look for their sign on the side walk on Main Street near Kilwins ice cream and walk down the path to the restaurant. Reservations recommended as it is quite popular for brunch.

My fiancé & I stopped here for a delicious Sunday brunch on the last day of our vacation. It was packed because of the horse show in town but we were able to get a table inside after a short wait. We were served coffee on the porch while we waited which was very nice! The homemade fugasa bread &... More

We couldn't resist the charm of this little hideaway off the Main Street. It seems to be a family owned establishment. The service was slow and we were seated right next to the hot kitchen on a 90 degree day. The food was very bland and uninteresting despite its description in the menu. They were also out of several ingredients... More

We stopped in Blowing Rock for lunch. It took GPS in my phone to find the Village Café but it was worth the trouble. Excellent food and service and a fun environment

This is such a delightful experience, particularly in summer time when you can enjoy sitting outdoors and marveling at the pleasant atmosphere and delicious food, be it breakfast or lunch. Do not miss this unique experience and fine dining. It is memorable.

Charming old building in downtown Blowing Rock. They have a garden area too with seating but we were there in fall and it was too cold to sit outside. Everyone was so friendly. Breakfast was delicious! Recommend the Belgian Waffle! We will come back next time we visit Blowing Rock!

Outstanding lunch. We had the portobello mushroom sandwich and the smoked turkey sandwich. Delicious! Wonderful staff also!

Before you think about going to The Village Cafe make a reservation as far in advance as possible. This restaurant is extremely popular ! Don't attempt to walk up and get a table, you will probably be disappointed. If you like outside dining they have table in a garden patio so make a reservation for an outside table. They can... When we stay in Blowing Rock, Village Cafe is our Go-To spot. It is worth any wait you might have. Annie works hard to get everyone in no matter what. Service is top notch. We are never disappointed. French Toast is the best I have had any where.
