We stopped in during the busy Fall Season and we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food and service. We enjoyed the homey atmosphere with a unique/artsy twists on it. We really enjoyed the Sheppard's Pie on this cool-brisk fall day. It's a great place for lunch. We would differently go back.

We travel to Ireland and Scotland often and always enjoy the fish and chips. The fish and chips here were very good, the catfish puts a different flavor to the meal.

We stopped here on our way through Boone. There was a University game going on so traffic and parking were a mess. We were just about to leave Boone when I spotted this place and a parking space. The burgers are cooked perfectly and the salad is great! Not your typical iceberg or romaine but a nice mesclin mix. The... More

Rolled up at around 5pm on Friday night... and it was completely empty. I didn't want to sit in an empty restaurant so i chose to dine outside and people watch while I enjoyed my meal. I got the Ghost Burger and a local brew. It was excellent though the ghost pepper was not kicking me like I wished it... More

I said in my last review if we ever returned to Boone, we would visit Galileos again. Thankfully, we returned to ski Beech Mtn with a group and we stayed in Boone. My wife and I slipped away from the group and found Galileos again for my birthday dinner. Instead of burgers, this time we went with the specials and... More

We visited for dinner on the Sunday after Thanksgiving and were the only ones in the place. Very good food. The fried avacado were a real treat. I'm hoping to try making them at home. My hamburger was also very good and the service was excellent.

Menu items are produced from locally sourced fresh supplies. Great burgers. Friendly and attentive staff. If you are looking for a small sports bar with good food, this is the place for you. Very nice, but short list, of beers. I recommend a stop of you are in Boone.

Boom! Just a half mile up the road from downtown Boone is Galileos. Fried avocado - had to try it. Awesome! In an area dominated by Bar B Q and Farm to Table, these folks have generated a bar like atmosphere with fresh food and great service, with some unusual flare. Burgers truly are a "cut above" in terms of... More

Always have a great time at Galileos, and love the draft beer selection and food. Local ground beef and beers are definitely the highlight as well as the different weekly food specials.

Fun little place. Pretty typical pub fare, although food is of top quality. I got the fish and chips, and it was fried to perfection in clean oil, and not overcooked. My husband had a specialty burger, and it was excellent. The selection of craft beer is sublime. A great time was had by all. Highly recommend.
