Hubby and I spent our first vacation here. Every morning. The first morning, we discovered we could eat two full rib-sticking meals and roll out the door (literally) fat and happy for under $17. That settled it. We were there every darn morning.

Waitress was friendly and attentive, price is very reasonable.. I ordered the iron skillet burger which was pretty good. My daughter's ordered cheeseburgers which were frozen patties, cooked and thrown on a bun with cheese and pickles.

We had gone to the Everett Street Diner the day before and were not impressed. I ordered the same breakfast here and it was much better across the board. Bacon was of a higher quality, breakfast potatoes were much better. Service was also better. If you are in the area, this is a great breakfast spot.

Our family came up from Florida for a visit in the Smokies and truly enjoyed a breakfast here. Look forward to coming back. One of the best veggie omelets I have ever had. Thank you for the sweet service as well.

We had a yummy breakfast here our last morning in North Carolina. It was an amazing, home cooked meal that reminded me of breakfasts at my grandmother's house - fried eggs, bacon, fluffy biscuits, grits and pancakes. Wonderful place for breakfast!

Food was surprisingly good in spite of the sign wanting a cook on the door. The vegetables were all delicious.

Stopped by the Iron Skillet, ordered the Bacon Cheese Burger. The apple bacon was the best ever. Would absolutely recommend it.

Food was very good. We each had a burger-done perfectly. Service was a bit slow, however they were very busy.

We had breakfast on Wednesday, 10/19/16 before taking the train ride. The place seemed to have a mix of locals and tourists waiting on the train. Sort of an old fashioned country eatery, with very good food, good portions and very pleasant and efficient staff. We had your basic egg and grits breakfast. Very good, coffee good and hot and...
