My partner and I, had dinner here for my birthday. We chose this place based on previous Trip Advisor suggestions. Cafe Pamlico, has a beautiful view of the bay (request a table by a window) and the fresh catch of the day, was great, however we were served stale bread, which wasn't a good start and had me a bit... We had great drinks from a friendly bartender and the meal was top notch! We both had the filet, mashed potatoes (best I have ever had!) and asparagus. Eating on the deck in perfect weather was really special! The servers were great-anyone walking by our table checked on us!

Food was delicious, service amazing and the view is breathtaking. Definitely the best restaurant on the island. Classy and elegant. A true foodie find and gem.

The views of the sound are really lovely although if there are more than two in your party, I don't know that you have the same view we did from the table pictured. The crab and corn bisque was among the best that I've had. I'd go back for it anytime. I had scallops with masked potatoes & asparagus; my... More

While we strive for consistent excellence, and are glad for all the things this guest enjoyed, we extend our apology for an under cooked potato and what appears to be a heavy hand with pepper. Our published policy is that it is right, we will make it right, or it is with our compliments. We wish this guest had brought... More

Sunset dining outdoors on the patio, Tuna Wellington yummy but not as rare as requested, nice wine list, probably the best key lime pie we have ever had. Service was ok, new so a step off their game, but friendly. Live music was superb, both the song list and her voice and guitar. Wear some bug spray that won't affect... More

Loved it! Crab cakes were great, and the wife had the grilled chicken special and enjoyed it as well. Berry-misu for dessert! Service was also spot on. We'll be back.

I suffer from many food allergies and it has proven challenging to find foods without any allergens. Cafe Pamlico made sure to inquire about my allergies and took precautions so as not to risk cross-contamination with other foods. Even though I was allergic to all of their desserts, they made ac special one that I could eat, and it too... More

The Food is divine!! Service was great and super friendly but not overly intrusive. The Scallop Appetizer was great, Blue Crab Cakes, fantastic, pan-seared red snapper over coconut rice, to die for!!! Dessert, Key Lime Pie and Creme Brulee, none better anywhere. A true culinary experience worth every dime and we really thought our bill would have been higher. It... More
