Here on business and went out with 8 other folks... we had a variety of food selections and everyone was happy! Highlights were the Chicken pot pie, fried oyster poboy, ribs and Mac-n-cheese, and brisket flatbread pizza. Home brewed beer was good, I had the IPA which was pretty hoppy, but could have finished more citrusy, the Belgian white and... More

The location of this restaurant was great - third floor of a building overlooking a street busy with shoppers. It's a big place but the tables are spaced apart. Rather small selection of beer, I think there were 8 beers they brew, and no other bottled choices. Fortunately I found one I liked and it was great. Menu is typical... More

I agree with other reviewers, appetizers are better than the main meals. Overall a bit pricey but the beers were great. I had a blueberry one that was delicious. It's also in a great location, top of a downtown business... views are fun and it's always crowded, can be a bit loud! Famous place, worth a visit!!

We were probably luck to get a table, as it was prom night it seemed, and there were many other persons at the restaurant as well. This is an institution in downtown Chapel Hill especially for college students and alums, so prepare for a very noisy and crowded spot. However, the place had great food -- had a really good... This restaurant and pub is a UNC must visit, that sits on the top floor that faces Franklin Street. The bar is large and offers a wide selection of beverages, including its own brews. Luckily, we were able to be seated outside, overlooking the busy Franklin Street. Service was friendly and prompt. We ordered the mushroom risotto cake entree and... More

The view at the outdoor patio overlooking Franklin St is awesome. Food is so so, pricey for what you get. Appetizers are best, skip the dinners. Always go when we visit Chapel Hill because its an institution. Great drinks and craft beers are good!

Great service and food. I was with a large group so did not expect good service but was surprised by the quick response to drink and food orders, as well as, delivery of food. I had the pasta dish with marinara sauce and because I asked for no cheese it looked rather boring; however, the taste was awesome. I would... More

This place had a lot of food I would recommend and it wasn't too pricey. One of my favorite dishes was the fried pickles and jalapenos. I also enjoyed the pulled pork and mac and cheese. The waiter was friendly and I had no complaiints.

We got seated on the rail outside. Great sunset views and able to see all the activity on the streets. Food was good but my cocktail was better. They make their own vodka.

We were looking for somewhere to have dinner while in NC, and someone mentioned this place. It was standard (to me) with the usual fare. Centrally located. Service was ok. Seemed very popular though, because it was crowded on a week night.
