Been here a few times. Think farm to table, and get a couple of appetizers to share with the table. Service is excellent, and all entrees are unique and fresh. Extensive wine collection. A little pricey, but worth the extra moola ;)

Have heard great things about bonterra. Restaurant week was not a good first impression. My wife's steak was tough and full of gristle. My salmon was good. Deserts were good. Service ok. Even on restaurant week this was not a good value.

First time visit to Bonterra and it did not disappoint. Restaurant week is a great way to try new places at very reasonable prices - $30-35 for a lovely 3 course meal. Before entrees I enjoyed a glass of Beaujolais and my friend had a lovely glass of chilled Prosecco. I chose the Heirloom tomatoes - excellent and the C.A.B.... More

Went here for a date night during restaurant week. The food was really good and they have a nice selection of wine. I enjoyed the setting, nice open feel. Parking is valet or street parking so give yourself a few extra minutes if you don't want to use valet.

Ok. So we came here during Charlotte restaurant week which may mean that they are just mass producing entrees to serve the masses. That being said, they did not live up to what I would have expected for a restaurant at this price point. First of all, when we arrived it was very obvious that the hostess had given our... More

I dine out a lot and many times with vendors and out of town guests. Bonterra is always excellent. Such a cool setting in an old church. Everything about the place is anti chain. Interesting foods, perhaps the best wine by the glass selection in the city, and locally sourced ingredients, the place is great. when I tell my wife... More

We had bid and won a gift certificate as part of the Taste of the Panthers event. We do these types of events quite a bit and have had mixed experiences in trying to redeem. Everyone at Bonterra was amazing! We had dinner for 8 in the Wine Room. We had no problem booked the date and time. Everyone was... More

The wine list is extensive. The menu has great selections. The people are friendly and the atmosphere is nice. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted with friendly faces. Our server was Kerry and he was perfect. He knew the menu and was just attentive enough to clear the empties, pour wine when needed have a... More

It's an old Church converted into an up scale place to eat and have a drink. Good wine selection with good prices. Friendly wait staff, most of which have been there a long time. My wife loves the Fried Lobster and I usually get one of the specials and have never been disappointed. AND - too it it all off... More
