Showmars University has been serving fresh, made-to-order dishes, to the community since 2003. Folks tend to stop by for lunch, and enjoy our Greek Salad or World Famous Fish Sandwich - just a few of our most popular dishes! Showmars University is heavily involved in our local community - with a huge focus on our charitable donations. Customer service is always great at this location. You can tell they care about their clients and their satisfaction. Whenever I have the slightest issue I am able to speak to a manager who shows great empathy and support. I’ve spoken to a few others in the past but the recent ones I can recall are Joe & Scott. Thank you both for being so great!
The food itself is great. I absolutely love their fried fish sandwich. I add cheddar cheese, bacon, slaw, and the whole nine! The popcorn shrimp is delish. Love their backlava. Fries are good to be considered crinkle fries! I wish they stayed making the lemonade how it was before. They changed the recipe and it’s not like it used to be (sad face). But I can never have anything negative to say about this place! I hope they stay around and multiple! Best food & service in university area that’s a clean place, and one that always cooks food correctly, with a smile. That’s a lot to say since the food in this area is bad and the service is even worse. Use their app so you can get rewards!

Km, is simply AMAZING!! Each time I call to place my order, she's always professional and pleasant. I can always count on her warm spirit and professional expertise when I call. Not really sure what her position is, but she should DEFITINELY be part of management staff

We ate here when we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express on our way to Maine. The flounder was outstanding and I NEVER EVER eat fish in a non-seafood restaurant and my seafood restaurant must have known fresh fish because I am not a fish lover so it must be fresh. Bravo to the owners for providing such fresh flounder (
might be frozen but didn't taste like it) cooked to perfection. All the reviews that rave about this place are probably correct. We will definitely eat here again in October when we return to Maine. And you cant beat the price!

Passing through town and stopped in for dinner. Food and service was great. Order at counter and service at your table. Questioned the cactus chili and they gave me a sample. Yes I had a bowl of chili and a pita. Very good and a lot to eat (:

This is my favorite Showmars. The place is clean, the staff friendly and the food is great. Their portions are generous and when you use the Showmars app, you get $10.00 credit for every $100 you spend!

Nice change from big chain restaurants and from bar food. Close to UNCC and especially close to Holiday Inn and Hilton area of University area. Fast service. Flounder was perfectly cooked, and not greasy! Chicken pita just enough without being too much to eat. Clean restaurant with a decent variety of food choices. You order when you come in and they bring to table. Will eat here again!

It was close to the Holiday Inn and the driver said it was a clean and nice restaurant. He was right. It was a nice, clean restaurant.
They have the menu on the wall and you order at the counter. There was Greek salads, different fish dishes and American food. You order, they give you your drink and a number. They bring your food to the table.
We ordered the perch dinner with fruit and green beans. It really was good. I was a little surprised how good it was. I did enjoy the meal.
Service here was very friendly and prices very fair.
I would gladly go back.

We wanted a break from the usual fare and tried this Greek place. Many of the standard Greek dishes are not on the menu, but they present a few which are okay. The Gyro Pita, and Shrimp platter were better than expected. The Chicken Santorini Platter was a bit dry and overcooked, but okay,and served with a large Greek salad.
OK place, and offers a chance to avoid the usual fast food world.

My family visited this restaurant for dinner while staying at a nearby hotel for one night, based on the location and a recommendation from the hotel staff. I love Greek food, so I knew this was unlikely to be traditional and authentic, so mentally I was fine with it. I got the spicy chicken pita sandwich, which was very tasty. The Greek salad was disgusting - iceberg lettuce with a few toppings; I did not eat more than a bite. The chicken we all enjoyed was very good, and my husband's platter with rice and vegetables was also good. This is a good, cheap option for food in Charlotte. I'd also like to highlight that we have two year old twins and the staff were very kind and friendly, even when they were making a lot of noise.

The gyros were pretty good, but very little sauce and LOTS of onions--I would recommend telling them to go light on the onions and have sauce on the side

Stopped for quick dinner while waiting for tire change, Fresh Greek salad was good with a side of salmon - everything was fresh and the customer service was well above par. All in all a pleasant experience.

My first time at this restaurant. The seafood was very good. The dessert lemon meringue pie was good also.
The staff and service was great.
The restaurant/rest room was very clean.

If you have a lunch time crunch, this isn't the place for you. If you have time, the line time and waiting for the food gives you time to socialize (put down your phones!).
I got the shrimp pita and it was great, my friend got a chicken cobb (I think)salad and he was very happy with it as well. The waitress was very friendly and the restaurant was clean and bright
