I have come here many times with my family and we have brought many out of town guests to eat here. All the food is very high quality and is delicious. Their burger special is often enticing and always interesting. My personal favorite is the Over Easy burger. I've never thought of putting a fried egg on a burger, but... More

Went for lunch and was disappointed. The order was mixed up. Burgers were under cooked even though we specified well done. I requested bacon, blue burger and ended up with a bacon, pimento cheese burger. Grandson's grilled cheese order was lost and finally came out. Fries were cold. Daughter ordered burger with pimento cheese well cooked. Came out raw and... More

The food was ok, and the choice of toppings were interesting, but nothing to write home about. The best part of the visit was the Duck Fat French Fries. I found the experience a tad expensive for Burgers and Fries outside of Vegas or NYC.

BCBB, as it's known, is a decent place. The hamburgers are tasty and the fries are good. However the price of two beers ($4.85 ea), a burger ($14), and fries ($2.85) is quite expensive. If you sit at the bar then you can order food there. If you don't, then you have to wait in line to order. You sit... More

If you like fresh, it won't get any better. We went early evening so the the weekend activities had not yet begun. The staff was friendly and helpful with "things in the area to do" even with the snowy weather. The Burgers delicious and I appreciated the beer brewed locally.

Was in town for business and went here for dinner. Great burger, all ingredients are locally sourced which they have information cards on the table detailing where each ingredient on the burger comes from. Great atmosphere, neat touch using the Ball jars for drinks.

The kids love the place. I think the beer is outstanding - especially the more traditional beers. I enjoy those far more than the ones made out of sweet potatoes. The kids really like the burgers - i think the portions have gotten smaller over time and the burger quality has dipped from outstanding to just very good. But, still... More

Love BCBB. Always have a great meal here- the food is super fresh and locally sourced. Atmosphere is loud but fun and great for families or group of friends. Long communal tables encourage conversation between different parties.

Made reservations for a large group to go here for a friends birthday. Everyone in our group ordered food and beer for dinner. Our table even had three beer towers! Although the food was great, the party was having a great time and we were finishing up our meal when the manager informed me that we had reached our time... More

I stopped here for lunch during a quick trip to Durham because I was in the mood for a good burger and Bull City Burger did not disappoint. When you walk in the door, you have two options for seating and ordering - either at the counter and take a seat at one of the long communal tables and they... More

Bull City Burger and Brewery is a locally owned, independent restaurant and craft brewery located at 107 East Parrish Street in downtown Durham, NC. We opened March 2011. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner 7 days per week with approximately 90 seats inside plus 60 seats of outside year round patio dining. We offer family friendly dining with a children's play area, as well as a semi-private meeting room for business gatherings, events and presentations all within full view of our own brewery. The restaurant is very much "farm-to-fork," working closely with North Carolina pasture-raised beef farmers supplying beef with no added hormones and antibiotic-free, that we grind daily to make our hamburgers and all-beef hotdogs. We work with other farmers growing vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumbers for pickles, and lettuce. The menu is streamlined with nearly everything produced on-site including house made buns, sauerkraut and bacon. We use no artificial sweeteners, no high fructose corn syrup, and no hydrogenated oils. We like to say we are like fine dining in a burger joint. We make the mustard, the slaw, the pickles, the mayo, the aioli, the hotdogs, the relish, the...
