If you have the time to wait, it's the best. Get there early, opening time is 11:30 am and a line will already be forming. The scallop roll was cooked / seasoned perfectly and honey hush puppies were to die for. Seafood is fresh and you can definitely taste it! I'll be back!

Went to Saltbox for the first time today and it was great. Had the Catfish roll with Lemon punch and everything tasted so good. It's not cheap, nor was it fast, but it sure was good. Definitely worth the trip.

Been there 3 times, but have eaten there yet. First time they ran out of fish while in line. Second time waited in line 25 minutes to place order an still had 6 people in front of me. Third time never got out of car, another patron told me not to waste my time wait too long. Guess my timing... More

One more visit, one more wonderful meal... and one more really long wait. I came straight from the airport and got here about 4 PM, thinking I would have an early dinner since I missed lunch due to traveling. It was actually just after 5 when I got my fabulous grilled trout plate (with the oh, so yummy potatoes and... More

Such great quality - never better inland. Oysters are perfect and chowder is FULL of shrimp and fish. Prices are on the high side but quality is well worth paying for - no indoor seating or rest room

OK Let's quit telling everyone how good this place is. The wait can be too long now. I have never had anything here that was not delicious. The music helps with the wait.

Tiny shack, two guys working (one expediter and one chef), outdoor bench seating, order from shack window, stand in line to order. Wait was not too bad - was very popular when we visited- 30 minutes from line to eating. Menu limited to whatever seafood is fresh, so it changes. Snapper was 86'd just before we ordered, so we tried... More

The quality of the food at the Saltbox Seafood Joint was a total surprise. The friend who took me there told me it was good but everything was great! I had the catfish roll with slaw, hush honeys and lemon punch. Each dish and the drink had nice, delicious flavors, usually found in a fine dining restaurant. The staff is... More

A very nice hidden place. Serves fish. You must have enough time and hope there is not to much people queuing. Nobody is in a rush here! The fish is very good and you should try it. Tea and lemonade are a good choice too!
