The chopped pork is dry, but the sweet and spicy sauces are flavorful. The sausage is tasty. The potato salad tastes like it is made with creamy ranch dressing. The fried okra was crisp! Worth a stop for a quick lunch.

Danny's is my favorite BBQ in the Triangle. The chopped pork has a great smoky flavor, and the beans & potato salad are excellent. It's surprising that I prefer their pork and their sides to all the other BBQ joints in the area. There are...More
I am working in the Raleigh Durham North Carolina area and wanted pork bar-b-que for lunch and Danny's came highly recommended. It is located in a strip mall with a small store front, went inside and was pleasantly surprised of the size of the restaurant....More
We visited Danny's with friends we were visiting. We arrived at their home about dinner time after a long drive. They took us here. There were 8 of us. We were seated right away and a few minutes later our server arrived. I got sweet...More
I was a little disappointed after our lunch. The pork and turkey were very tender, and they gave good portions. But we felt they weren't real "smoky" tasting. And the BBQ sauce on the table was kind of tasteless. Most BBQ places have their green...More
I have been to Danny's one time, and the company I work for orders lunch from there fairly frequently. I really love their potato salad and hushpuppies. I don't care for the pork, because it is pink, and I just don't trust pink pork as...More
Same great food as the original Danny's. Only serves lunch. Can get crowded but line moves fast. Cafeteria style only. Not fancy. Lunch time with buds type of place.
The place is packed and noisy - just beware. But, the food is great. The banana pudding was only $1.00 when I was there - worth more than a buck. The shredded pork, green beans and slaw were great. They close at 3pm and might...More
On my last visit, I was sorely disappointed in the brisket. I loved Danny's because it was always the same -very good. The brisket was very fatty. I haven't returned yet. If I do and this happens again, I will ask for a different meal...More
