This was the perfect restaurant for me and my wife to enjoy our anniversary. The menus selections were great. Everything that was brought to our table was fresh and perfectly made, nothing was over cooked. The salad was excellent everything on the plate was fresh...More

I have been to Rue Cler twice for brunch and was disappointed both times. The food is over priced for the quality, especially when you can get a fantastic french meal at Vin Rouge on 9th street.

We ate there yesterday for dinner. We chose the prix fixe menu. All the courses on offer were delicious: products from this season, locally grown and perfectly cooked. We really enjoyed the meal! Looking forward what is in the Août menu!

We came here with a friend for a long overdue catch-up dinner and had the most amazing meal from cocktails to coffee. I very much enjoyed the "Prix Fixe", my favorite among which was the mushroom and duck tart, and I had the special entree...More

The food is very well prepared with amazing combinations and spices. I have had alot of French food, but this is my favorite now. My only complaint would be the portions could be a little bit larger for the price. I'm a really big eater...More

Located in downtown Durham on Chapel Hill Street. Parking is an issue. Decor is minimalist French cafe. Service fast and friendly. We ate tapas style - duck and mushroom tart, asparagus and egg appetizer, country style duck and pork pate, salmon, sauteed greens. Desserts included...More

Wandering around downtown after the Farmer's Market on a Saturday morning and went in here for brunch as there was no wait. Had the Farmer's Plate with a terrific freshly made sausage patty.

I ate here with my daughter and we both loved it. We did their prix fixe meal, but as you can substitute from the regular menu, it's really a great deal. I'm a foodie, but not that familiar with french food, and I spent a...More

Description
Using our extensive network of regional farmers and fishermen and our close friends in the wine business, we have tried to adapt the experience of a Parisian neighborhood restaurant to offer a unique dining experience. Our food is inspired by French tradition and seasonal, local produce. The wines we serve are all made by vignerons that we know personally, who themselves love food, and who craft their wine to showcase the specific terroir, while harmonizing with the meal. Most of our vignerons practice biodynamic or organic farming. Our prix fixe dinner menu showcases the freshest ingredients the southeast has to offer, prepared simply and with care, served at a bargain price. We also serve classic bistro and brasserie dishes a la carte. Our popular lunch and brunch services feature French-styled sandwiches, crepes, salads, and more.
