I have never, ever had it's equal and I live in one of the most prominent foodie towns in the country - NYC! This unassuming restaurant is hands down the best sushi I've ever tasted. Though the atmosphere isn't exactly as tasteful as the food, its worth stopping to have an Okinawa Roll any day of the week.

This is my go to Asian restaurant in Elizabeth City. My Daughter introduced me to this place and I love it. It's some of the best Japanese food I've had anywhere. Everything I have had there has been delicious. I have never been a huge fan of miso soup but theirs is not only edible but actually appealing. The very... More

Perfect sushi, miso soup, wine choices. All fresh seafood and incredibly reasonable. We ate here two times during three night visit. Felt like we were in downtown Los Angeles as far as quality. Kudos!

Lunch boxes are great deals, but the appetizers are some of my favorite dishes! They started doing hibachi recently as well. Try the Spicy Friend roll, it's my favorite!

The restaurant is extremely clean. The staff is very friendly as well! We had Morgan as a waitress and she was extremely sweet. The food is well priced and just yummy.

We traveled to the NC coast for a week. This was the worst and most expensive meal we had. My husband remark was if this was the first Sushi I had I wouldn't have eaten Sushi again. Very few people when we were there and now we know why. Food was not good .

The food is good but a bit pricey. The restaurant is very small and limited on space. They could use a better location.

Every meal at Toyama's has been great. I enjoy going there. They are hard working and the food is always good. I have never been a fan of Japanese food until they came to town.

Had some sushi, pretty good. The filet was served on a sizzling hot plate, kinda like fajitas. But the favor and the steak were great.
