We usually get to Franklin NC every 2 years or so. One of our usual stops is the Motor Co Grill. Always has been a good choice. Easy and fun.

Someone has taken what looks like an old car dealership building and turned it into a Route 66-type diner! It looks smashing inside, and there are nice patio tables and chairs on the entry patio for dining if the weather is good. I of course...More

The food was good - I had a taco salad one visit and onion soup and brbq chicken salad another time and it was all quite good. My only comment is that it tends to be slanted a bit toward locals and they seem to...More

We were pleased that we used TripAdvisor to find this restaurant. Our waiter, Daniel did a great job on recommending local beers. Our lunch was fabulous. Excellent pulled pork, burger and sweet potatoes fries. We would stop here again if traveling through the area.

This restaurant offers a good selection of lunch and dinner items. If you are in the mood for a burger, they offer qite a selection! The milkshakes are hand-spun and yummy. It is a good value for the money.

50'S & 60's Diner serving gourmet hamburgers, hot dogs, soups, salads and other great American dishes. Our restaurant also includes an old-fashioned soda fountain featuring hand dipped ice cream sundaes and hand-made milkshakes. Our building served as a car dealership in the 40's, 50's and 60's. Thus its name "Motor Co. Grill".
