Southern dining and cuisine at its best! Cashiers answer to your favorite "Meat & 3". Love the country fired steak and the trout! save room for homemade dessert too!

THE RESTAURANT is the place to eat in Glenville. Casual dress, great service. The mountain trout is always a favorite. Specials weekly. Bring your own wine/corkage fee or select from their wine list. Reasonable prices.

Husband and I went for a late dinner and wanted something like a home cooked meal. We were not disappointed. I had a vegetable plate and he had Shrimp. They are famous for their trout, and the waiter apologized that they ran out of trout, but we didn't mind a bit because there were many choices. The waiter was very... More

This place is not fancy, but the trout is worth the trip. It's a 50 minute drive from my home on Lake Keowee, but worth every minute. Have had both the Parmesan Crusted and the Pecan Crusted Trout and both are excellent. You can even take your own wine.

We visited Happ's Place based solely on the reviews from tripadvisor and were very pleased! The atmosphere is not much and they could use some updating in the dining room, but you will forget about that as soon as you taste the food! My husband said it was the best sauerkraut he had ever eaten anywhere, including Germany.

Went to Happ's on recommendations from a nice local gentleman and from friends - was delighted. The trout in any form is NOT to be missed - excellent. Same with their specials - on my night there it was game: duck breast, elk sausage and wild boar loin - outstanding chef and service all around. Wait staff is attentive and... More

Very diverse menu and the best trout I've ever had. Everything we ordered was well prepared, and the service was great. What it lacks in eye appeal it more than makes up for in quality of food !

I'd recommend Hap's as a good restaurent in the Cashiers area. The ambiance is what you'd expect from a country restaurant, however the food and service were excellent. Surprising variety in the menu also.

Food was good and service (Heidi) was excellent. Owner was attentive and menu was very interesting and bit different. Location was good if you are staying around Glenville.

I'm a country girl, so I love the home style cooking, especially the fried chicken livers. My husband doesn't eat them so I don't cook them at home, but if I did, they wouldn't be this good, and I'm not a bad cook myself. My husband had trout, and loved it! This is a no frills dining, but you can... More
