I'm not sure when it happened, but Rhonda's name has been scraped off of the the front of the Restaurant although I am told the menu and inside looks the same. Since I have never eaten there before I do not know if the food tastes the same, but I stalk good country cooking restaurants and there just was not... More

The food was fast and delicious. Great atmosphere and fast service. We had burgers and I had one with country ham. All of us loved what we ordered.

Ronda's diner has a slogan "Come hungry leave hooked" & that's exactly what happens. Located close to the downtown area of Kings Mountain NC this diner is a short drive off I-85. Just take any Kings Mountain exit & get on Highway 29. Ask anyone for directions. It is well known by the locals. If you eat lunch by 4... More

Small diner atmosphere experience with lots of Coca-Cola items on display. If you are a meat eater, you must try Mike's burger. Two beef patties with double cheese and ham. with lettuce and tomato so that made it "healthy". Very friendly wait staff, bargain price.

Loved every tasty bite! Fabulous service as well. If you are driving through town, make sure to stop to have this great southern food.

This is a really good diner. It looks rough from the outside, but let's not judge this book by its cover. The burgers are AWESOME! I got the Mikes Burger and it was a doozy weighing in at over 16 ounces, but it was so good I couldn't save it for later. I also got the onion rings, which were... More

Even if I'm not close, I'm going to go out of my way to eat here. Had a Mike's Burger with fries and sweet tea. I wasn't disappointed. Good atmosphere. Great service. Visit Kings Mountain and then stop here for lunch. Do it!

We came here after doing a 12 mile hike through the forest. It wasn't even our first choice, but it looked like a neat little diner, so we thought we would give it a try. The location is a small diner. There are a few tables within. The diner was filled with local traffic. The waitress was very friendly, knew... More

The atmosphere is small-town diner with friendly service and red vinyl-backed chairs at Formica-topped tables. The menu is basic fare with a strong emphasis on home-made fish dishes and some pretty nice desserts. There were a number of daily specials not listed n the menu. They all sounded good. Judging by our lunches, they were. Mike's Burger is fantastic! I... More

My camping buddies and I needed a place to eat lunch. The park ranger at Kings Mountain National Military Park recommended Ronda's Kitchen. Conveniently located on Highway 74, we were there in a matter of minutes. Local flavor in a down home setting was just what we were hoping for. Daily specials featured comfort food and everything we ordered was... More
