In general, the food here is consistent, tasty, and good portions. Grilled TUNA sandwich is my favorite. Burgers are hand made and prepared to your liking. I have been there many times and have only been disappointed when they had sold out of what I thought I wanted that trip.. Always found something else that I enjoyed. Carry-out food for... More

We were in Hatteras the Sunday after Hermine hit and this was one of the only places open. This being our first trip to Hatteras we didn't know what to expect. This little place was a nice surprise! The owner was very friendly and ready to serve us despite the fact that they lost some things from the flooding. The... More

The positive note is this place was open only one day after Hermine. However, one stop was enough for us! Our seafood platter was all fried, greasy and could've been frozen but it could've been fresh, too. The platter I felt was expensive for this type of establishment. The hash browns were greasy too and they had zero taste. I... More

Had a negative experience last time I went (in 2015), but thought it was worth another try. We had used this place quite a bit in years gone by (believe it was a different owner then). This is a very downscale eatery and, first things first, quite pricey for the type of place it is. However, had the food been at... More

We had breakfast there and the only negative was the lack of air conditioning. The food, staff and prices were incredible. Stop in before waiting for the ferry to Ocracoke.

We ate breakfast here every morning. Veggie omelettes, pancakes, hashbrowns (homefries), and biscuits out of the oven. Wow! Frank greeted us, even on our first visit, like old dear friends and made us feel welcomed every morning. So gracious were the staff, one feels compelled to say goodbye to every member before heading out to the beach. We'll miss them... More

Stopped in for breakfast. I had a breakfast sandwich that was piled with sausage, egg and cheese. Very filling and good. The biscuits were fantastic and the service was great. Super friendly atmosphere and friendly chef who checked in to make sure everything was good.

We came here for breakfast one morning during our recent stay & were blown away by how delicious the food was. I had the chicken, egg, & cheese biscuit & it was quite possibly the best one I've ever had so we came back for dinner & were equally pleased. The staff is phenomenal and the beer (canned) is cheap... More
