The black rose is a fairly typical looking Irish pub; it has a long bar with lots of beers on tap, along with some good single malts. But it's the Friendly staff and some great food choices that set it apart from those typical pubs....More

An hour and 45 min and we had drinks and 1 appetizer. When the staff started telling new customers not to sit down we realized we were probably not gong to ever get served even though we had ordered. Not sure we would recommend this...More

Enjoyed drinks at the bar. Good service and good drinks. This was an afternoon visit and it was quiet and not many people. The bar tender took care of us and it made for an enjoyable afternoon.

My work rented out the upper room for a work party. Plenty of alcohol choice. Food was pretty good. Pool table, darts, and tv to entertain. Parking was a bit of a hassle, but is to be expected in any city downtown. The only negative...More

We went to the Black Rose after the Classic Car Show on Main Street in Hendersonville around 6:30 pm just before the rains started. Good Thing. There was only four other people waiting for a table. Fifteen minutes later as the shies opened up and...More

The Reuben sandwiches are the best in town. One of our party got a salmon dish he loved, and another the fish & chips, also very satisfied. Good service, nice atmosphere outside or in, made this an enjoyable experience.

This is a great place to eat on Main Street Hendersonville. You can eat indoors at the open windows or outside. Try the potato skins they are outstanding.

As a cheeseburger chaser, I was very pleasantly surprised with my sandwich. Jucy, flavorful meat. The onion rings were very different - exceptional. Mama didn't care too much for the chicken sandwich, not much flavor. Service was very fast. Lost one order and didn't get...More

We were there this past September and ate the best Reuben Sandwich we'd ever eaten! The menu as I recall was quite extensive. Google Black Rose Pub and do Menu-Pix & you can view their current menu.
