Went with friends who frequent often. This was my first visit. Friendly greeting and was seated right away on a Saturday evening. Ordered the fried flounder, fried clams and jumbo shrimp with the baked potato. The food arrived fast and was very fresh. Everyone enjoyed everything they ordered and we had no problems at all with service. I will be... More

My seafood experience and education began when I was a child and was taken by my parents to a famed seafood restaurant in Maryland where I had my first fried flounder. Every visit was just like the first – the fish was very fresh, thick and meaty, and perfectly fried. The accompanying fries and cole slaw as close to perfection... More

We have eaten at Sanibel's a number of times. It is a popular spot and the parking lot is frequently crowded. The menu leans heavily toward fried seafood. Service is fast and friendly. We ate fried fish there and both my husband and I felt ill for several days. We later decide the fish was either spoiled or undercooked or... More

Visiting the area from New York I was recommended this for a good seafood restaurant. Very casual atmosphere surprised I couldn't get an alcoholic beverage as they don't serve any but I nonetheless ordered from their vast seafood menu of mostly fried fish some grilled. The portions were very large and what they call jumbo shrimp would be considered medium... More

Always great food, every time. Always huge portions, two meals easy. Fries are never soggy, fish is fried perfectly, hush puppies are tasty never hard, and my favorite the grilled Tuna salad is always the best.

My High Point boyfriend and I are regulars at Sanibels. I always get the jumbo friend shrimp, the best I've ever had. Friendly efficient staff, consistently good food, reasonably priced.

If you like seafood, as my spouse does, he brags about the popcorn shrimp and white fish. I'm not a seafood eater and the non-seafood items would only get a 3 rating ftom me. They serve margarine which I am NOT a fan of so the baked potato is off our order. Fries and hush puppies are ok but serving... More

I came into Sanibel's today right as they opened at 4pm & I'm so glad I did. My sister has come before & spoke highly so I gave it a try. Facility was large & clean, ample parking. We both got fried jumbo shrimp, scallops & catfish platters that come with slaw, hush puppies & choice of baked potato or... More

Came here with friends for dinner. I was intrigue by the name since I have visited Sanibel Island, Florida a few times and in fact will go there again in just a couple weeks. I had the Popcorn Shrimp and it was excellent, but I found it interesting that they also offer pasta dishes, burgers, chicken sandwiches, and steaks. Interesting... More

Home visiting and always have to make a stop here. Can't go wrong with the flounder and popcorn shrimp. Even though it was late, it was very fresh and great as always. Expected maybe old oil after all day but it was super fresh. Always a great meal and glad we make it a stop whenever we are in the... More
