We ate there on a Friday night. The restaurant was very busy. I had a cocktail, and my husband had wine. We split a Caesar salad. My husband had fish; I had scallops. It was okay but pricy. We weren't overwhelmed with anything we ordered.

This was our first trip to Highlands, NC and a local had recommended Paoletti along with a few other restaurants. We decided to try this restaurant first and we loved it so much, we came back the following night! We sat at the bar both nights as we met some nice people at the bar (both weekend regulars and first... More

After several trips to Highlands, we elected to trust the ratings and found them to be accurate. Charming friendly and excellent food are the watchwords here. Tables are understandably in demand. Menu is deep and paired with a strong wine list. Mixologist knows what he is doing as well. 4.5 stars!

I go to this wonderful restaurant every time I visit my parents in Highlands, NC. It is such a special restaurant. The staff has low turn around so you get to really know them and they get to know you. The food is impeccable and the service can't be beat. I highly recommend this fine restaurant to anyone visiting the... More

Every visit to Paoletti's is wonderful, but our Christmas Eve dinner was extra special. My husband had the succulent Osso Bucco ( not frequently on the menu) and I had the fresh and beautifully prepared red snapper. The hosts are exceedingly gracious and will do anything in their power to make you feel at home and ensure that your experience... More

The food was very good service impeccable and no waiting for a table and orders were fast. The staff was very polite and friendly. Was a little crowded for my taste but I guess it's because the food and service are as I stated impeccable. I would go again if ever in town. I am from Houston and have been... More

We had not been back to Highlands for several years, but used to come every summer. The Cannelloni at Paolettis was a favorite but I was nervous to order in case it wasn't as good as I remembered. It was amazing! If anything even better than I remembered! Great appetizers too! So glad we went back!

We come annually as leaf lookers in the area. Paoletti is always a must on our trips. It was perfect once again. Cosmos, wine, bread, salads, snapper and filet Mignon all were excellent. The service could not be improved on at all. The wine was so good, we took advantage of their retail wine offer and took another bottle home.... More

As a frequent visitor of an array of restaurants wherever we travel,  I rate Paoletti's as one of the best restaurants I have ever visited.  From the wine selection, ambiance, menu selection, wait staff and the best presentation! If you are fortunate to visit Highlands N.C, Do not miss the experience of Paoletti's. You will not be disappointed!
