We had a fun evening cruise filled with delicious lobster and a lot of laughs thanks to the Shediac Bay Cruises. The Captain is a total riot, and as long as the guests have a sense of humour, there is considerable fun on this evening attraction. The Sunsets over the bay are incredible and it is lovely to be out on the water. We were celebrating a 50-something anniversary & a 70th birthday as well, so it was truly a night to remember!

We very much enjoyed our lobster cruise with Captain Ron. He is knowledgeable, funny and passionate about the lobster industry and conservation. He turned a recreational cruise into some fun learning and a memorable experience for us. We enjoyed the bay, the scenery and the lobster. He and his crew also cooked and served us the best lobster we've ever eaten, after showing us how to properly break up and eat a lobster the Acadian way. We are now hooked on that method and hope to practice it regularly for many years.
I definitely recommend sharing part of your day with Captain Ron and his crew on the Shediac Bay Cruises.

This was an overall great experience. The staff were exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly, making the atmosphere welcoming and enjoyable from the moment we arrived.
One of the highlights was learning about the lobster we were about to eat, which added an educational element to the dining experience . The experience caters to solo travelers, couples, and families.
For those who might be scared of lobster or allergic to shellfish, there's no need to worry—they have a chicken option available!
I recommend this place for a memorable and delightful meal.

As mentioned in other reviews, the tour with Captain Ron was entertaining, delicious, eductional. If you are looking to learn about lobster fishing and to taste a delicious fresh lobster, look no further, this is the tour for you. Well worth the money, it's a unique experience that you won't get anywhere else.

We had a very nice evening! The host taught us a lot about lobster and also how to eat it and with a lot of humor and all in a bilingual way. During the meal, which was very good, the facilitator, assisted by two assistants, walked from table to table to see if any help was needed in shelling the lobster. It lasted 2 1/2 hours and we really enjoyed our experience! I recommend!

Take this cruise with Captain Ron and you'll learn all about how lobsters live and grow and how they are caught. In addition, you will learn how to properly "disassemble" a lobster with the minimum of effort. And, finally, you will have the opportunity to eat a lobster, as well. All the time Captain Ron is both educating you and entertaining you. Watch out, though, because he has tricks up his sleeve, particularly his "chicken of the sea" catch.

This was the highlight of our trip in New Brunswick. I happen to find this cruise accidentally when the kids asked about a cruise that was about lobster instead of whale watching. (lol!). I called and asked about Gluten Free options as I am Celiac and was pleasantly surprised to hear that I could be fully accommodated. So we bought tickets last minute and headed out to Shediac with the kids. First off, the staff were incredible. They were friendly, knowledgeable and humorous. The Captain was hilarious and really got everyone onboard into the theme of the cruise. Kids had a blast!!!! Our eldest daughter got involved with some of the activities for kids and I think surprised the Captain too :) For the kids first every cruise on the ocean, this experience was unforgettable. The food was excellent, and we learned a lot about not only how to eat a full lobster, but the difference of the Acadian way. Kids had a great opportunity to practice their French speaking skills with the Captain and the staff. Highly recommend this activity for anyone :)

Fifteen work colleagues went out with Captain Ron, Samantha and Jonathan. What a fantastic time! We had an amazing time, and let me tell you...Ron is hilarious. You'll have a blast, laugh a lot, learn a few things and even eat some fresh cooked lobster! 10/10 would strongly recommend.

This cruise is a must for all lobster lovers or those who have not tried them before. Captain Ron gives a lot of background information about the lobster business as well how to prepare and eat a lobster properly. This cruise was certainly one of our highlights on our tour through the eastern part of Canada! We can therefore highly recommend it to everybody!

I would recommend this cruise unhesitatingly to anyone who would love an entertaining, thoughtful evening on a converted lobster boat, with a captain who has extensive knowledge and a great crowd pleasing ability. Captain Ron and his young crew put on a dinner aboard that was totally satisfying. And included is lobster lore that leaves one both entertained and informed. The sunset viewed from the upper outside deck was a bonus extra. Worth the money!

Went there with family, sons are 5 & 7 and eat lobster. They do have a chicken option, but you go there for the lobster.
Capt. Ron and it's crew really took care of us. All interventions are bilingual.
Full of interesting and funny information .
I little expensive but we'll worth it.

Very fun outing. Good entertainment from a fun MC / Host. We learned about the lobster industry and enjoyed a great meal.
I was a little concerned that it may be just a cruise and a meal - but the host / MC was funny, fun and engaging making the entire experience a joy.
Highly recommend for family or friends outing. The young kids got involved… the grownups got involved and everyone laughed and learned. The drinks at the bar are an added bonus.
