The "skipper" was great - knowledgeable, personable and a fantastic storyteller. Engaged warmly with the children on board - even letting them pull in the lobster traps. Demonstrated the Acadian way of eating a lobster - so hopeful! Then we had the best lobster dinner...ever. He also took care to keep us safe in our strange covid-19 times, good social distancing regimen; masks required when moving about but they seemed unnecessary when at our table.More

Fantastic family run business. Includes an educational component for children and a tasty lobster dinner. Chicken or lasagna available to those that would prefer. A must for visitors to the area.

We had a fun evening cruise filled with delicious lobster and a lot of laughs thanks to the Shediac Bay Cruises. The Captain is a total riot, and as long as the guests have a sense of humour, there is considerable fun on this evening...attraction. The Sunsets over the bay are incredible and it is lovely to be out on the water. We were celebrating a 50-something anniversary & a 70th birthday as well, so it was truly a night to remember!More

We were fortune enough to have our staff party on the Shediac Bay Cruise and I found it to be a very pleasent experience. The staff on board was great and accomodating and the captain was very informative and funny. They offered a lot of...food options for groups that you had to pick beforehand so that was very nice as well. There’s a bar on the boat and a nice upstairs so you can enjoy the view and take some nice pictures.More

The crew was great, the captain is funny! It seemed a bit much at times to have everything delivered in both French and English, but I understand catering to the whole crowd. The value was good for a lobster dinner cruise. I think my surprise...and a bit of disappointment came from the Lobster being served cold and without any butter, just a small side of store bought salads. The other surprise was to be seated on wooden benches with 2 other people on each side. When you hear dinner cruise, I just think of something a little more formal and a little less communal. The experience was fun, entertaining and good for all ages. We just had expected something a little different. Had the website been more detailed about this, we could have managed expectations (or dressed more casually)More

Neither of us eat lobster, but this cruise was still one of the most fun things we dis on our vacation. Fresh BBQ chicken for the non-shellfish eaters. A bar onboard. Lobsters 101 was both entertaining and interesting.

We cruised late August on the later time slot. Cruise is well run, we have two boys nine and twelve who were fully engaged in the informative tour and who had the opportunity to participate in some of the fun little things on board. There...is a bar on board where they serve wine by the glass or by the bottle, and you are able to take your bottle off the boat IF you don't finish it on the cruise which I thought was great value. I would highly recommend this cruise, food was well presented and delicious. I think if we were to return I would take the earlier cruise ONLY because there would be more to see and enjoy on the bay on the upper deck (it was getting dark when we set off).More

As part of our Grand Circle Tour, we took the lobster cruise today. Captain Ron and his wife, Denise, were outstanding. He taught us how to trap lobsters, crack lobsters, cook lobsters, measure lobsters, distinguish between male and female actors, and of course, eat lobsters!...His knowledge of the industry and his eye on conservation demonstrated his true passion for keeping the lobsters plentiful. He has a very entertaining way of teaching us about lobsters. Volunteer for two activities and have even more fun! Thanks! DianeMore

The 4 of us totally enjoyed this tour. Ron and Denise do such an amazing job. Ron is so informative in a fun way so learning was super easy. If you get a chance, volunteer the second opportunity. You will not be sorry. The lobster...served cold is delicious. Comes with a bun, slaw and potato salad. All yummy. We had a beautiful sunny calm day shortly after the hurricane. So glad we went.More
