Wife and I went to Kinston for the Chef and the Farmer. That was a bit disappointing, but we also ate at Ginger and loved it. My wife had rolls and loved them. I had nigiri and loved it. Our appetizers were a little "meh", but I don't really expect good appetizers at sushi, so its kinda my fault for... More

Sooooo good. I highly suggest the Blueberry Basil Margarita. I ordered the steak with mashed potatoes. Cooked exactly as I ordered. My friend had the sushi and said it was delicious. We both had dessert. I ordered the baileys ice cream sandwich and my friend had the chocolate cheesecake, order both. You will not be disappointed. We went on a... More

I have been to this place a couple of times over the years and it has changed quite a bit. Tonight we had sushi and a rice bowl. The rice bowl was delish. Just the right amount of sticky rice texture. It was a trip to flavor town. The Live, Laugh, and Love roll was also the bomb. We had... More

I have been dining at Ginger 108 for more than three years now, and have never been disappointed. Now that they've expanded and added a sushi bar, it is one of my favorite restaurants!

Before finally visiting Ginger 108, most people that I spoke to about this restaurant referred to it as an "Asian" place. Yes, there is sushi and sake and wontons. But there is also shrimp and grits, scallops, duck, steak and chicken. There is definitely more than just Asian cuisine. The atmosphere is nice and laid back. Our waiter was very... More

This restaraunt has it all. You can have asian/sushi , etc or other cuisine. We had chicken and shrimp with gouda grits. The whole meal was outstanding.

I began spending a lot of time in Eastern North Carolina in 2013. You can look at my reviews on the left to verify that. For some reason I never heard about this restaurant and missed it until last night. Just by chance I was after what I call PAC Rim cuisine. The Sushi is as good as Wasabi 88... More

Dinner out with the wife. Varied menu, great steak! Great service. Great atmosphere. Nice to sit with people dressed for dinner in something other than tees and jeans. Quiet and serene, polite staff! Just what you want for an intimate dinner date. The food just melts in your mouth. Portions very satisfactory! Highly recommend !

Great place to eat. We prefer the sushi bar side for atmosphere, but all menu items are to die for. The sushi chef has come to Kinston from Vegas, and really knows his stuff! Highly recommend the Rhapsody Roll :)

food was delicious but way overpriced. can't charge New York prices in Kinston, NC. Also, some of the staff made rude gestures in front of customers.
