I'm always ready for life to present pleasant surprises. I got one in the little town of Lansing, NC. The food was good enough for to succeed in any major market in the country. Great homemade crust, fresh local ingredients, handcrafted desserts and attentive service. Go out of your way to eat there.

The wait time for food is well worth it, as it is always fresh and local. It is a family friendly atmosphere, and the staff will make you pretty much anything you want with their ingredients, such as pizzas, sandwichs, calzones, salads, etc. Ask for Jack to be your server, as you will not be disappointed.

Yummy pizza with fresh ingredients in a quaint little town. There is a park across from Pie on the Mountain that is perfect for a picnic with PIZZA!

This is one of those out-of-the-way spots that hits the spot. Our server was so friendly and accommodating that we hated to leave. The salads and pizzas were good, all made from fresh, locally grown ingredients. Across the street was a delightful little city park that nestled up against a winding river. The experience was fun, serene, and fulfilling. We... More

We visited this past Friday evening by way of recommendation. Incredible pizza and salads. Fresh ingredients were evident in the taste and quality. Service was lacking and it took a while to get our food. But considering it was standing room only, which is proof of how great the food was, it was somewhat understandable. Would definitely return when in... More

We enjoyed our first visit to POTM. The big news is that they now serve beer and wine, even though the town of Lansing is still dry! Not sure how they got the okay but definitely progress. Service was a bit slow but everyone was nice plus we had adult beverages and didn't mind the wait. I recommend they add... More

I local place with friendly service. Casual. The ingredients are mostly all fresh and local. We had a chicken pizza with fresh greens and arugula. We even had the fresh hand made dark chocolate oatmeal cookie. Great warmed up. They have sandwiches and salad also. Worth the trip.

Ate an 18 inch Carnivore Pizza today. One of the best pizzas I have had in a while! Dough was homemade, and all toppings were local! A must go!

Wow! We drove 30-min from Grayson Highlands and the Creeper Trail and are glad we did! The garlic-cheesy bread appetizer was amazing, especially with the homemade marinara sauce (which almost tasted like fresh, homemade salsa). The pizzas, crust, fresh ingredients, (HOMEMADE RANCH DRESSING!!!) and fun waitresses made the evening unforgettable. Plan on taking your time with this one, you'll need... More

The pizza was incredible. We had the white pizza and their meaty pizza (I can't remember their fancy pizza names) and they were amazing. The buffalo chicken pizza wasn't that spicy but it was good too. Service was really slow the night we went but the servers were really friendly and kept us informed.

Pizza, sandwiches and salads in historic Lansing. We feature artwork from local artists and source from local farmers and purveyors. The coffee's pretty good too.
