Awesome lunch. The best Rueben sandwich I have had in 20 years. Good service and great food. Found it while looking for some place to turn around to get back to downtown Maggie Valley.

This lodge and restaurant is so homey and cute with very friendly staff. It was a little chilly to sit out on their deck overlooking mountains, but we had a great table with a view inside. We both enjoyed a trout dinner that was prepared...More
Nicest people I met the whole time in Maggie Valley. Went 3times for breakfast. The owner came out from the kitchen and talked with us. The waitress was a real sweetheart. Breakfast was very good.
My sister and I sat on the back patio gazing at the beautiful mountains while we ate awesome blueberry pancakes. Our waitress was so kind and friendly, it felt like visiting with family. The views are amazing, but the food and service will bring us...More

We had the ceasar sald and the cocount shrimp. Both were very good. I enjoyed the raspberry sauce for dipping the shrimp in. Pation offers wonderful views of the smoky mountains. Service was attentive and fast.

We usually visit the mountains two or three times a year, but NEVER miss a visit to The Mountaineer. Absolutely love sitting on the screened in porch for dinner. Staff always friendly. Food always hot and fresh.
Stopped in after driving by. Had a reuben, tasty and lean. There was only one waitress and apparently one cook. Food delivery slow but the meal was good. It is the off season so maybe it might be better in season. Was going there for...More
We arrived late (8.30) and even if the restaurant was near to close, we have been welcomed. The meatloaf was eccelent and the salmin really well cooked. The sides were tasty too.More
