Great menu and great service. Spectacular oysters and clams! Easy to get in and out of ...in the heart of everything

The title of the review says it all... Average. Waitstaff was pleasant. The food very average. Even the lemon pie wasn't tasty. Wish we had chosen a different place for dinner.

We experienced a delicious late lunch at Sanitary today during the NC SEAFOOD FESTIVAL. The couple we are with both had fried shrimp and my husband and I had the salt/pepper fried catfish! It was all delicious and lightly battered! Our service was pleasant and...More

Given it's location and awesome views you really want to like it. However, I've lived in town for nearly 10 years, and I've eaten here several times, each time thinking to myself that maybe the next time, the food will be good. After staying away...More

I had steamed oysters, green beans and a baked potato. The oysters tasted bad, not fresh, out of a can and warmed up. Green beans were half runners and were delicious. No real butter for the lukewarm hush puppies or potato. Margaritas were great, as...More

This place was recommended because they said it used to be good. Very disappointed in everything. The staff did not believe in smiling. The food was average at best. The only nice part was the view outside. If this used to be good someone has...More

This place is a legend, known far & wide for its amazing seafood. They literally dock the fishing boats outside and you can't get fish any fresher. Great service, good prices. Worth a detour just to come to Morehead City!

Food was average - I ordered a shrimp burger and wished I was at the Big Oak Drive In ordering one instead. The history to take in as you leave is very interesting, they have guest books from decades back for visitors to explore, plus...More

My once favorite restaurant has really gone down hill. The fried oysters were small bits (about dime size) and tasted like mussels. They used to be real oysters and the shrimp and scallops were bigger. The meal was not worth $30 any more. I told...More

No steamer pots. Most all seafood selections are local catch and fresh. Don't pass this place up. Try the shrimp salad, I buy it by the quart to take to my mom. But keep it on ice.
