The food was really tasty and with an excellent price. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The menu is very diverse and is definitely a place that I'll keep coming back to.

Flying out of Raleigh and found this little gem just a few minutes from hotel. Excellent favor in everything I had. Very friendly and helpful service.

I had the chicken soup as an appetizer and it was really good. Clearly freshly made with homemad noodles and lots of chicken and vegetables. For the main course i had lechon asado. Pork was perfectly roasted and tender. The only issue i had was that it was a bit to salty. Yellow rice and plantains. Portions were very large.... More

Carmen's was very nice inside and would be a great date location. Clean, cozy and well appointed. We had the chicken empanadas (fresh and good), Papas rellenas (tasty fried mashed potatoes with ground beef) as appetizers. My entree was Masitas de puerco which was fried marinated pork chunks, rice and black beans. Everything was quite authentic, I've traveled extensively in... More

We had Croquetas as an appetizer and Vaca Frita & Lechón Asado as main dishes. The croquetas were perfect! However, the two main dishes were just better than average.

I'm a lunch regular here. I like their daily lunch plate options. I've never experienced an excessive wait and the food is always good.

No one in our party is an expert on Cuban food, but the dishes we had were flavorful and tasty. The Yucca was not my favorite. It was dry and seemed to need some sort of sauce. We did find the service very slow. There were six of us arriving at the restaurant right as it opened on a Sunday... More

The food was very good. Normally I am not finishing my plate, but here I almost ate everything. Service was very good and friendly. Most likely I will visit again.

I met my old roommate here after he arrived at the airport. When I first walked in I felt a little under dressed; I didn't expect to walk into a place with table cloths! The food reminded me of the Cuban cuisine I ate when I lived in South Florida. I was not disappointed! Be sure to order the plantains!

I had tried Carmen's once before for lunch and was hesitant to return. Although the restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the service is welcoming and attentive, I was not impressed with the food. I am afraid I have to report the same experience for a dinner visit. The food simply lacks the level and complexity of seasoning that one... More
