A great "Mom&Pop" style truck stop under the flying J banner. Waitresses are very attentive and professional. I had the meatloaf dinner, excellent! You also have a choice of a buffet. Great pricing for the quality of service and food.

This is a clean restaurant. Good food and decent prices. Waitresses are very friendly and service was good. Restrooms are clean and the entire place looks clean. Don't think of it as a typical truck stop. Very good and worth the stop. Did not try the buffet, just ordered off of the menu and it was delicious.

Love this place! One of the last of the old school truck stops. Hopefully they can maintain this as there is a need. Food was great. Very fresh. Excellent wait staff.

I'll just review the buffet which is what I had, dry, old, stale, overcooked and a plain robbery of patrons money when they try to sell you this buffet option. I've got to say that I saw the servers carrying dishes to other tables that seemed decent however if you are in a hurry and a buffet is your option... More

We've eaten at Brintle's many times over the years as we travel between the south and the north. They're always open, it seems - even on Christmas! The selection is good and the servers are friendly. We recommend it whenever you're in the area!

We ate here because it was next to the Best Western. I had fried chicken from the buffet and my husband ordered chicken fried steak which was the special. Both were very good.

I have stopped here for many years and have never been disappointed. They have a great buffet and from the looks of the menu, the individual prepared food is great also. I like the buffet so well, I can't remember ever ordering off the menu. I have been stopping her for probably 20 years. They do make a good iced... More

Returning to Minnesota from Spring Lake NC, we got off Hwy. I-74 for lunch shortly before having to merge into Hwy I-77. We drove about a mile and found Brintle's Homestyle Restaurant occupying half of a truck stop. Brintle's is a truck stop diner that features a buffet. The floor is blue and white tile with blue and white booths... More

Decided to try the restaurant after reading reviews. We tried the buffet and the food was good. The vegetable soup was somewhat bland but would make a good meal for a vegetarian (more vegetables than broth). The food selection was good. My rating is more about the steam table. I do not think the food temperature would pass a health... More
