What is going on @Fratello's in Pinehurst? Service is beyond SLOW! No excuse was offered. At least tell customers when they arrive that there will be EXTREMELY SLOW SERVICE and give us a choice. Fratello's used to be our go to Italian restaurant but has fallen from grace. Our waitress was unable to communicate with us and for whatever reason... More

Based on the good reviews, my wife and I tried this on a Saturday night. My veal parmigiana was OK, but ust average. The ziti it came with was extremely overcooked. My wife's salmon was awful. She said it had a "smokey" flavor. My wife loves salmon and often orders it when we are out, and this is the first... More

There are three dishes that I would recommend: 1. Caesar salad delicious salad 2. Chicken Parmesan 3. Veal piccata with the same sauce for angel hair on the side You can't go wrong with any of those dishes Good pours for the wine I prefer eating at the bar more activity

This is not New York Italian, but is pretty good for the area, probably the best Italian food in the county. Pastas are good as is the chicken Parm. They have some gluten free options as well, which is helpful for some folks.

This is a small family owned Italian restaurant. The atmosphere is very nice with dining available in the bar area or formal dining room. The beverage menu has a good selection of beers and wines. There is a wide selection of appetizers, pasta, chicken, veal, and seafood entrees. Prices are reasonable- $15 to $20 range. Service was very good. I... More

We had 28 guys, with reservations. The restaurant assigned only 2 servers (really should have been more) but they actually did pretty well. Most everyone liked their meal, but my Chicken Marsala, though tasty, was: a) a bit salty, and b) tough/rubbery. The bread was excellent, with a delightful cheesy/butter spread. The roasted potatoes were excellent and the sauteed broccoli... More

My wife and I are in Pinehurst for the National Clay Court Championships at the Pinehurst C.C. After several days of play we asked where the best Italian restaurant was. Fratellos was the answer. I charming little restuarant off of Highway 15 in kind of a small shopping center. We had and excellent dinner of Veal Picatta preceeded by a... More

It's a fairly basic Italian restaurant. Interior was very dark which is the way we like it (hate having bright lights in our face). Sauces were homemade and good but not great. My husband had the Chicken Parmesan and the chicken was tender. The pasta (spaghetti) that came with it was overdone. My lasagna was good but not great. Halfway... More

A favorite local eatery with a true Italian character, complete with Frank Sinatra photos and music. Cheerily hosted by Sal and Celeste busy circulating between guests and the kitchen. Fresh Bruchetta is a must have appetizer. Shrimp Scampi is my favorite dish lately, plentiful amount of fresh sweet shrimp, butter, garlic...good-by waistline. Chicken Picatta and Marsala are both equally delicious. I... More
