Maxie's Grill is a nice spot for bar food and drinks in Pinehurst. Lots of locals hang here, but you will get groups of tourist (golfers) coming here. There are so many locals that drink here all day it is hard to get a spot at the bar many times unless you are there early. Food is good.

This is a very nice place to go if you have just finished a tough 18 holes of golf in Pinehurst and you need a burger and a beer with a great sports atmosphere.

Have been here a number of times, always good. Typically sports bar lots of games and tv. The minute is duverse and everything is good. Went with 12 guys on a golf trip no complaints. Soup, sandwich and wings . Berr selection is vast and they have pitcher specials. Staff is very friendly Great place

Locals want to keep this place a secret because it is so special. If your looking for a cookie cutter corporate place, then you'll be very disappointed. Maxies is the hang out for caddies from the resort courses, doctors from the local hospital, retirees from up north and locals who love having fun. The old guys sitting at the bar... More

Our local family members took us here. We would have never found the place nor tried it out without their recommendation. Maxie's serves excellent pub type food with an upscale twist. Appetizers were good. I had a BLT with avocado and an over easy egg. The bread seemed hearty and possibly homemade. Delicious. There is a bit of outdoor seating.... More

I thought this little bar was great when I first went into it. Close to our home. Local people. Local brews. Etc. Unfortunately, I was told by people who've lived in the area a lot longer than me that this bar was the golf caddy hangout and that they weren't accepting to outsiders (I'm only quoting what several other locals... Very good menu & service. Locals spot for lunch, dinner or just watching a game at the bar. Very casual and relaxed with lots of televisions for all.

This is a great place to hangout once you are done with your round of golf. This is a local hangout that is not on the beaten path. Excellent beer selection, a lot of TVs everywhere, and the wings are the best. Plenty of pub food.

This is a fun place technically inside the Village of Pinehurst, but a wee bit off the beaten track. Nice outdoor patio, plenty of parking, enough TV's inside that some will be tuned to your favorite channel, and generous pours on drinks. You can count on great sandwiches and other pub food at a good value. Steaks are great price-wise,... More
