I was challenged with finding multiple restaurants in downtown Raleigh that would accommodate a group of ~10 each at a reasonable price to have work dinners. Gravy was easy to work with, even with a last-minute request to move our time by 30 minutes. When...More

They use finest farm to table ingredients artfully prepared into wonderful dishes. One of us had the fresh pasta with bolognese sauce and house made ricotta the other had the eggplant pie. All were outstanding. We will definitely be back. A great price performer for...More

The aroma of flavor fills the room from the open kitchen. This small place might seat 50-60 at capacity could be more but it’s quaint. Service was good, martini was ok, but the food was the star. The risotto balls, meatballs were delicious. We all...More

I had heard mixed reviews but I wanted to try the half price spaghetti and I wasn’t disappointed. The pasta had the perfect chew and the meatballs were quite flavorful. Only con was the tiramisu was dry.

Looking for a late spot where you'll get in relatively quickly, Gravy of the place. Very nice quaint set up. Menu is pretty straight forward. Long Island Ice Teas were made perfectly!.

It’s been years since I’d given Gravy a go. And wanting a night on the town with my sweetie, I booked us a pre-holiday weekend engagement. First, I forgot how informal it ran here, both it’s own decor and it’s clientele. The appetizers were unappetizing...More

On a recent overnight in Raleigh, we once again relied on TripAdvisor to point us in the right direction. We felt like having Italian and wound up at Gravy. Very busy, very noisy, and very good food. Service was fine, prices were reasonable, and cheap...More

After several years I finally agreed to try Gravy. A quick glance at the menu later I was glad we were there as everything looked really good. Cozy vibe, great aromas. We ordered the bruschetta, arancini which they call "risotto balls", and duck meatballs. The...More

I love the food here, but every time I come whether it is to dine-in or for take-out the service is horrible.

I believe there is a children's menu but I cannot be 100% certain. I did see children in there.

I don't think this is the kind of place that would sell you a gallon of their wonderful sauce. But you could try calling them.

Ask any Italian-American what ‘gravy’ is, and they'll tell you it's the pasta sauce that their mothers and grandmothers cooked fresh every night. At Gravy Restaurant we take the same care, preparing our signature sauce every day using select tomatoes and locally grown herbs. The heart and soul poured into the preparation of traditional Italian-American dishes pairs with inspired modern twists and a focus on seasonal ingredients to define Gravy’s unique approach to this classic cuisine.
