Ask any Italian-American what ‘gravy’ is, and they'll tell you it's the pasta sauce that their mothers and grandmothers cooked fresh every night. At Gravy Restaurant we take the same care, preparing our signature sauce every day using select tomatoes and locally grown herbs. The heart and soul poured into the preparation of traditional Italian-American dishes pairs with inspired modern twists and a focus on seasonal ingredients to define Gravy’s unique approach to this classic cuisine.

Went for dinner with co-workers last week. The service was great, and the ravioli was delicious, as was the bread. One of my friends raved over the gnocchi. Each person in our party ordered a different meal, and each person was happy with his or...More

This restaurant is small but very busy. Located in downtown. Customer service was awesome and the Chicken Parmesan was the best Gravy I have had. Some true Italians call pasta sauce gravy! Spaghetti was heavily coated with gravy as was the chicken. Garlic Knots are...More

It was about 15 minutes before they closed for the afternoon when we walked in with a group of very hungry young ladies. The manager did not miss a beat, we said we needed seating for 20 and she made us feel welcome. The service...More

Had the early (5:00) seating before seeing Mamma Mia! Service was great (thanks Hailey!) and food was delicious. Split the Italian Chopped Salad and shared the Bolognese and the Duck. Both were flavorful and the pasta was delicious. Too full for dessert, sadly.

Look. I have been to Italy, NY, and Il and I have never EVER had lasagna like this. It's the best in the world. I'd put money on it.

Quaint, bright and good. Enjoyed the appetizer fried risotto balls-served over a light marinara with Parmesan cheese. Had the eggplant pie and homemade bread knots. Great for lunch and reasonably priced.

This restaurant is in an older restored building and has a lively atmosphere. The space is fairly small and a lot of tables are crowded together. The kitchen is partially open with a screen partition separating it from diners. It sounded like the cooks were...More

I was challenged with finding multiple restaurants in downtown Raleigh that would accommodate a group of ~10 each at a reasonable price to have work dinners. Gravy was easy to work with, even with a last-minute request to move our time by 30 minutes. When...More

I believe there is a children's menu but I cannot be 100% certain. I did see children in there.

I don't think this is the kind of place that would sell you a gallon of their wonderful sauce. But you could try calling them.
