I was totally impressed by the variety of options as well as the great prices. Normally museum cafe food is outrageously expensive, but not here! I opted for a wrap and drink out of the cooler instead of waiting for a hot sandwich as it was quite busy that day and I was hungry, but looking at other people's orders... More

Food was very good and reasonably priced. I ordered a burger and was able to get fresh fruit as a side rather than fries. My husband had the fried fish and really liked it.

I stopped here at the end of my visit to the Natural Museum to sit and chat with a friend. She ordered the soy chai latte and I decided to give it a try. I have to tell you it was the best chai latte I have ever had. Not sure it was the sugar high (I tried to fool... More

Lunch here is absolutely delicious and reasonably priced for the quality of food you receive. $8.00 We ordered shrimp n grits, fish tacos (2) and salad bar. Reasonable portions for a lady/children. Big eaters may need extra. Order at counter and wait for food. I don't think there was any wait service. Coffee and smoothies were available as well. Serve... More

I was surprised a museum cafe would be this tasty and inexpensive. Counter service was fast and painless. Will return if visiting the museum.

I am often hesitant to eat at museum cafés because of the price. The planet cafe has a wonderful menu at very reasonable prices. My fish tacos with fries was $8 and soup was $3. Kids meal were $6 with an entree , drink, side of chip, fries or fruit, cookie and a toy. The museums were amazing and I'm glad... More

The Daily Planet cafe was a welcome surprise considering the offerings at other museum cafes I've been to. This cafe makes everything fresh and has a wide variety of sandwiches, healthy salads and platters. It's a real fast casual restaurant and worth a trip whether you're at the museum or not. Two of the adults in my group had the... More

I was really surprised by the food in this cafe. As a rule, food in museum cafes is not particularly good but this is an exception. Located in in the NC Museum of Natural History, the service and food were quite good. The hand-made burgers were great.
