This place is surprisingly good, especially since it is located in a mall. This isn't mall court food with tables. This is really good Italian food. The pizza is closer to the European version with the tomato sauce on the surface and the cheese mixed in and below the sauce. This actually makes for a more tomato-based (and acidic) flavor,... Last minute trip to the mall with the kids, we decided to get some pizza and didn't want to be in the loud food court. The decor is beautiful and the place was clean. It was just mom and kids so just the pizza chips and a pizza. All were very good, not your average mall pizza. It was early... More

If you are in the área, this is a good and fast choice. Really good margherita and lemonade with refill.

From the friendly greeting, the quick seating,& the personable servers you feel welcome. Great wine selection & the pizza thin, fresh & so full of flavor. The granulated garlic at the table ,a nice touch

So I headed to tomatoe pie for a late lunch and what a surprise. We arrived and they had 1/2 off apps. Enjoyed tasty meatballs with creamy ricotta. Crispy calamari and the best rice balls ever! A total treat all for less than $12! Very good food at a great price. Will totally head back. The hours are 3-5 for... More

I have now tried Tomato Pie several times and each time am amazed with the variety, quality and presentation of the soup and salad bar. Let me say in advance that I am not a fan of salad bars---I do not like to get my food where others have helped themselves with various levels of proper behavior. So in order... More

You will find the menu choices similar to other Italian Restaurants but unique enough to entice your imagination and make choosing difficult. The salad bar is a definite with soups that were out of this world. The tomato mint soup was wonderful.

The salad bar is nothing short of amazing! Everything is fresh, they use all natural ingredients and you can taste it! I love the pizza crust, fresh and crispy with a little chew. This is one of my go to places every time I visit Raleigh! It's a hidden gym and isn't overly crowded b/c it's on the bottom floor... More

Food was delicious, waitress was kind as could be, BUT the place was freezing and they wouldn't close the doors, my husband ate dinner with his coat and hat on. In fact, lots of people had their coats and hats on! Recommend to come here in the warmer weather.
