We came for the great Seafood and we all were very dissatisfied. The price paid for " Fresh Seafood" was too much for what was delivered. My Scalaps had no flavor and the fried clams were old and tough. The broiled flounder was very fishy and thin. The French fries were piled on top of everything with the hush puppies.... More

We crave fired seafood every so often and the only place we want to go is the NC Seafood at the Farmers Market. The plates are fresh and the portions are generous. We had the large "two way" plate. It comes with your choice of two of the seafood offerings, potato wedges, slaw and hush puppies, The hush puppies make... More

It's a very local scene with concrete floors, picnic style tables, and basic decor - not fancy. You order at the counter and wait for your number to be called. But this is the place to satisfy your southern seafood yearnings. Many of the menu items are fried in the calabash style, but there are many delicious broiled sections. My... More

We have eaten here many times. There is fried and baked seafood. There is a large variety of fish. You always get hushpuppies and coleslaw with every tray. The serving size matches the quality. The portions are large enough to split with someone and still be very full. The line may seem long but moves quickly and you get your... More

On a bright Saturday afternoon my wife and I stumbled into Fried Seafod Heaven! There is no shortage of fried godness here. The atmosphere is casual and the fried delisciousness is in abundance! The price is more than reasonable and the service is quick!

If you're hungry and love fried seafood this place is for you. You get giant platters of pretty decent seafood (for an inland restaurant)!

I love seafood, especially Calabash style. It can be hard to find some in inland North Carolina unless you uncover a long lost fish camp in the backwoods. Thankfully, the State Farmers Market has NC Seafood which is my favorite seafood restaurant in the Triangle area. The portions are huge and the service fast, you just have to put up... More

This place serves Calabash style seafood and really piles it high. You will not go hungry here. Nothing fancy and you may have to share a table with someone but dont let that hold you back . Its well worth the trip!

I have eaten here several times over the past year since moving to Raleigh. The food is always high quality and served super fast. They have great lunch specials and serve fast enough to make it a great lunch spot. I highly recommend the fried shrimp or the scallops. Two of my favorites

Located in the Raleigh Farmer's Market. Relatively inexpensive place to enjoy a seafood sandwich or platter. The quality of the mostly farm raised fish has been consistent throughout the years. Always a good stop. If you want fine dining, go elsewhere and pay the price.
