We went there on our anniversary. Always looking for European restaurant-I do believe we found one with a German Austrian Polish Creative menu. The bread started off as typical old world. The Betski Bellini was a good takeoff of the peach one, but made with...More

Went to Betski's today for the first time. Another couple joined us for lunch and we had a very nice time. Excellent service from Trent! To me the cuisine is a mix of Polish & German. We had schnitzel sandwiches, several different sausages and pierogis....More

My wife is of eastern European descent, and remembers her grandmother making Kielbasa, Perogies, and other traditional eastern European food. She was thrilled with the food at J. Betski's. It was delicious and authentic, and it triggered fond memories for my wife.

This is one of my favorite places in Raleigh. It's definitely a hidden gem and they're OK with that. Because the restaurant is on the small side it can be hard to score a table without a reservation but we love sitting at the bar...More

Check what they are serving before you venture there for dinner and make that a phone call because their website is different from what they are actually serving. It's a small place with equally small menu and variations. I ended up ordering the pierogie appetizer...More

Visiting Raleigh for only the second time and wanting a restaurant different from where we live, I thought that we should try J. Betski's which turned out to be an excellent choice. We started with draft German beer, my wife had the Schneider and I...More
