We had a breakfast and a dinner here. Both meals were very good, especially dinner. The scallops with risotto was excellent. Menu items are over-priced which appears to be very common in this region. Staff were very friendly.

Amazing dinner! Absolutely loved the short ribs on risotto! Then funghi pizza was equally brilliant! We were lucky on our first night in Gaspe that we were able to order out!! If they are fully booked they do not do takeouts!!! (Reason why I have...4/5) Things to remember: - make reservations (dinner and breakfast) - ask for take out and eat al Fresca at the Barque du Canada boardwalk - make reservations Servers were fabulous and friendly! And, make reservations way ahead of trip! TETU fills up quickly!!More

Great food and service. They were able to accommodate my gluten free requests and the food was delicious and well presented. If you're look for a foodie experience, I highly recommend.

It was a nice experience for our party of six. The opinion varied. The presentation of the dishes were good. The taste was a little bit on the neutral side. Our couple ordered 5 cheese pizza and vegetarian pasta. I had to add spicy olive...oil. The salmon tartare was good, though. Maria, our waitress was effective and friendly.More

We stayed for a night at Baker and we ordered for takeout. The online ordering process is very easy. It was a bit hard at pick-up as there were a lot of orders coming in but the stuff managed to keep everything in order.

Tetu is located in a very nice facility within the Hotel Baker. The hosts make a big issue about reservations even when tables are obviously available. No menus were available; you either have to remember the posted items or photo them for deciding at the...table. Service is decidedly on the slow side - meals took more than 40 minutes. Staff also need to be reminded about ordered items as they tend to forget. The Scallop appetizer ($16) was definitely the biggest hit-imaginative and tasty. The Salmon Tartare was OK barely. The Tomato Salad appetizer ($12) was disappointing: small, with a few crumbles of cheese. The Burger Cornu ($19.50) was tasty and inventive, but the accompanying fries were sad looking and tasting. The Lobster Risotto ($32) was a major flop - good little lobster, but the risotto was simply boiled with greens and had no distinctive flavor.More

Food in the restaurant has mixed reviews. We received excellent appetizers, for mains my beef tartar was very good, pizza my son ordered was ok, my husband’s fish and chips was one of the worst we ever tried. But the biggest disappointed was the service....We waited half an hour for appetizers and after we finished them we waited more then an hour for mains. No word of explanation from our waitress, when we finally asked her about food she gave us standard “it’s coming”, no word of apology. Food come 15 minutes after with no apologies at all. She never checked how was it. While my son still had half of his pizza and he was eating she came to ask us if we want deserts.... at that point we were unhappy enough not to want anything (plus we were plainly tired) - so she came with a bill at the lightening spied (my son didn’t finish his food!) For the establishment that is trying to be more on upscale and creative side super disappointing!More

A horrible first meeting with the young man whom was taking reservation and taking people to their seats, ..Well it started at 8 pm by him telling us, no we work by reservations come back at 9.30pm .. eventhough their was plenty of seatings available...I said no problem....9.30 it is.. To then return to his arrogance once again at 9.30pm, he made us stand up in waiting another 20-30 minutes, he then gives us the worst table in the middle of the room so I requested a beautiful table for us by the window which was availbale,...NOPE so he kept us up another unlimited time as we refused this table in the middle.. ... i requested kindly please this nice table may we have it, NOPE rude again ... We we re tired, exausted after a very long drive ... I said do you plan on keeping us up all night,...He was so rude. My husband walked right out, so I said to him ok we will be taking out then... HE SAYS NOPE ALL CLOSED NOW.... WOW .. BUT the good news is that this young lady called Claude came to us, and apologized for all and so thoughtful and kind she offered to do put our order for take out, I asked what do you recommend and she did, so I took her advice BEST PIZZA I ve ever had ... THANK YOU MRS. CLAUDE FOR YOUR KINDNESS AFTER SUCH A LONG DAY, YOU MADE OUR NIGHT .. I Sincerely thank you!!!!More

Food was ok, not great. Food was done late, Need to focus more on quality, not just the “cool” factor.

Tetu is normally the restaurant of the 4* Baker hotel. Due to Covid-19, it did like few other restaurants and transformed itself in a fashionable food truck. There are actually very few restaurants in downtown Gaspé and as the food truck was located not far...from the hotel we stayed in, we gave it a try for dinner. We had to wait about 30 minutes (which was reasonable given the number of people waiting) and the service was friendly. Each family member had a different dish, so we could try basically half of the menu: the fish tacos were really nice (but beware, the sauce is really spicy!) and lobster rolls above average. The duck confit was disappointing (actually more like a poutine with some duck meat). The chicken burger was good, too. The price was expensive but when considering what we have paid for other places in Gaspésie it was not outrageous (120$ with tips for a family of 4).More
