My husband had the fish and chips and I had the bouillabaisse and both were delicious. The only disadvantage of this restaurant is that they have stopped taking reservations so you just have to turn up and hope for the best . They operate a...wait list if they are full and ring you by phone when they have a table for you. You have no idea how long you might have to wait - we were told it might be up to 90 minutes but fortunately they phoned us after only 30.More

We don’t usually go to pubs/taverns but on this occasion most other restaurants were closed. Luckily we booked a table a few hours ahead of time as both levels of the dining room were full. The menu offers much to chose from including a couple...of Asian inspired dishes. We ordered the bolognaise/Caesar salad duo and the kung pao chicken bowl. Both dishes were very good and avoided frites/poutine. The lower dining area seemed noisier than the upper area. The servers that we encountered were both cheerful, helpful and efficient. Although we were not looking forward to a “pub evening”, we very much enjoyed our experience here.More

Good draft beer. The place was busy so we did not get a table with a view, but were next to the kitchen. The fish and chips were good, but quite expensive, but then everything is these days.

My husband Steven and I went to this sweet little restaurant twice for dinner. Not only was it charming, the views, food and service was excellent. We were very happy to meet 3 lovely women on our two visits. They were kind and happy and...the food was great! Loved every moment and we highly recommend this spot! Thank you to Ro, Claude and Laurence. 🌸❤️🌸More

Wife and I had dinner. We shared a seafood soup and lobster club sandwich. Great taste and enough for us to share.

This highly touted seafood restaurant was a great disappointment. Service was abysmal as our waitress was very scarce throughout the 90 minutes we waited for food. We were parched before finally receiving our second glass of wine; the first glass ordered 30 minutes after we...were seated. Fish of the day was a salmon filet simply prepared and acceptable. Shrimp rolls and cod cakes came with duck sauce which was odd. Calamari appetizer was great. Husband’s coquilles st. Jacques was delicious as were the barbecued baby back ribs of his friend. The problem was the chaotic service as we were surrounded by unbussed tables. Long lines of diners were outside both entrances as we departed. We wished them luck.More

We spent a couple of days in Gaspé in late summer. Choice of good restaurants is limited however this one did not disappoint. We visited twice. Our first visit was a top notch experience. Food and service was generous and tasty. I had the crab...club and wife had the lobster club. Delicious!! Service was excellent despite the place being busy. Our second visit was a bit disappointing. The food was excellent however wait staff was disorganized and extremely slow. The restaurant was far from capacity so staff could have been more present and helpful. We also noted errors on the bill that needed correction. The menu is not extensive however there is something for everyone. We all stuck with sea food choices and we were all very satisfied.More

WE had lunch after Marine Museum tour. Being Sept 3rd, security was tight, requiring vaccination proof and ID. This was comforting to know that all present were double vaccers. Food was quick and good. Beer on tap was very good. Fish & Chips was ok...but certainly not to Newfoundland standards. Overall, very good lunch.More
