We ordered the shrimp rolls and a Caesar salad for starters and a seafood coquille and fish & chips for the mains. They were all delicious. Especially the shrimp rolls and the seafood coquille (best I’ve tasted). Really cool environment & really good customer service...from the wait staff. Definitely recommend.More

Casual diner with excellent seafood dishes. The prices were reasonable and the dishes large. Very friendly bilingual service .

Busy little place, great service, waited half hour for a table. Our server was terrific. Cod cakes were all potato.......no cod.....very disappointing. Spaghetti boulanais was great. Wine was good and fairly priced.

If you have a food allergy be careful. Most of their food seems to have been premade and they weren't very keen on alternatives.

Just a short walk down the hill from the Hotel Plante is this popular bustling restaurant in the central business area of Gaspe. It's larger than it looks from the street. On the street level there are plenty of outdoor tables and the lower level...has tables on a deck with some water views. They have extensive food and drink menu that should satisfyingly just about anyone. I had the smoked salmon linguine, which was perfect. The garlic bread it came with was stale and dry, but do you really need garlic bread with a pasta dish? I'd eat here again.More

Although this place is popular and people lineup outside to be seated for dinner, and ads for it could be found everywhere, even in the Forillon park, don’t be fooled by all this: the food is disgusting and overpriced. It’s a tourist trap. The salad...was not fresh, the rest of the meal tasted reheated. All three of us didn’t like our meals. We had a better experience ordering from a local pizza place the next night and eating Tim Hortons the next day. Never Brise-Bose again. On a positive side, Brise-Bise is cutely decorated and has a charming atmosphere, it would have been nice if the food was any good.More

Large menu and food was very good. Table service was excellent but seating needs an adjustment. They don't take reservations and we were told an hour wait for an inside table so we sat outside even though it was a cool night. We saw other...groups seated inside soon after us so we were confused. We saw some money change hands so I guess that's how it's done?!? The second class seating took a bit out of our dining experience but the food and service is worth giving it a second try. They have two lovely patios if the weather is good. The half ribs dinner was very generous and tasty.More

Lots of charm in this small bistro. We arrived at 7:00 and waited about 15 minutes in a line for a table.staff were excellent and very friendly. We ordered a pizza to share. It was a very different presentation. Two large slices with fries and...cubed vegetable salad. It was very tasty but fries and pizza would not be our choice. Lots of other options on the menu. No reservations so be prepared to wait.,More

This restaurant is considered one of the best in Gaspe. Our experience was not positive. The main level was full so we were sent to the basement. We ordered two smoked meal sandwiches (+$22.00 each) The Rye was toasted and the crust hard as a...rock. The meat was dry and very fat. The server gave us a small discount when we complained.More

Great food, and luckily is there at least one place where one can get a decent dinner in Gaspé. Adams is closed, Tétu too, Wakeham full. So the crows queues up in front of Brise-Bise. Luckily we noticed that left around the building there is...an entry to the bar. Albeit slightly louder then above, the food was just very good.More

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal (shrimp poutine and crab cakes) but the service was super slow at first. The employee who seated us may not have communicated to the server responsible for our table that we were there (patio table). We were seated for about...20 minutes before our server initiated contact with us. Service was great after that though.More

After arriving in Gaspe, my wife and I made the walk down the hill to try Brise Bise. Definitely not disappointed! A great beer and wine selection (as well as cocktails), and a menu that offers great appetizers, salads, soups, entrees, and pub selections. Because...it was such a great spot, this is the only placed we came to during our 5-day stay. Too many good choices on the menu, so we kept coming back. Either arrive early or late, otherwise you will be waiting awhile in line. Staff is both professional and friendly, and won't hesitate to speak English if that is all you can muster.More

They said on TripAdvisor they have gluten-free options. When we selected on, the gluten-free spaghetti, it had a piece of wheat bread on the side of the bowl. Didn't inspire confidence!
