Lots of charm in this small bistro. We arrived at 7:00 and waited about 15 minutes in a line for a table.staff were excellent and very friendly. We ordered a pizza to share. It was a very different presentation. Two large slices with fries and...cubed vegetable salad. It was very tasty but fries and pizza would not be our choice. Lots of other options on the menu. No reservations so be prepared to wait.,More

This restaurant is considered one of the best in Gaspe. Our experience was not positive. The main level was full so we were sent to the basement. We ordered two smoked meal sandwiches (+$22.00 each) The Rye was toasted and the crust hard as a...rock. The meat was dry and very fat. The server gave us a small discount when we complained.More

Great food, and luckily is there at least one place where one can get a decent dinner in Gaspé. Adams is closed, Tétu too, Wakeham full. So the crows queues up in front of Brise-Bise. Luckily we noticed that left around the building there is...an entry to the bar. Albeit slightly louder then above, the food was just very good.More

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal (shrimp poutine and crab cakes) but the service was super slow at first. The employee who seated us may not have communicated to the server responsible for our table that we were there (patio table). We were seated for about...20 minutes before our server initiated contact with us. Service was great after that though.More

The best customer service! Location was superb and my mussels were sweet and full of garlic! We waited 45 minutes to get in and would do it all over again!

After arriving in Gaspe, my wife and I made the walk down the hill to try Brise Bise. Definitely not disappointed! A great beer and wine selection (as well as cocktails), and a menu that offers great appetizers, salads, soups, entrees, and pub selections. Because...it was such a great spot, this is the only placed we came to during our 5-day stay. Too many good choices on the menu, so we kept coming back. Either arrive early or late, otherwise you will be waiting awhile in line. Staff is both professional and friendly, and won't hesitate to speak English if that is all you can muster.More

They said on TripAdvisor they have gluten-free options. When we selected on, the gluten-free spaghetti, it had a piece of wheat bread on the side of the bowl. Didn't inspire confidence!

It was very busy here and we were impressed that the young host was able to handle the demands with grace and a smile on his face. The food was great and we enjoyed sitting outside, the first night on the street side and the...second on the patio on the other side of the restaurant. Tip: have one from your party line up on each side and text each other to determine which lineup might be better to commit to. The two different hosts seem to manage their area independent of the other.More

The food here is very good. Had the lobster dinner the other day (July 15) with maple tart for dessert (same for my kids). Also had 1 beer while kids had water/juice. The bill came to $200 inc 15-18% tip. I still was satisfied but...thought it a little pricey. ...We came again July 17th as there is no competition and limited services in Gaspe. Stood in line 15-20 min. I began to think it a bit ridiculous that there are always lineups due to a lack of restaurants in the area. After a while I asked myself, why am I lining up to drop $150-$200 here. So we went to Provigo and got some great sandwiches, salad, etc. Got to enjoy the hotel room more. So I give The Brise a 7.5 out of 10. Would be higher but pricey and difficult to access unless you are there 5 pm ish. I suggest you go there then as lining up over 15 min detracts from a good experience on vacation. Not the restaurant's fault, but thatvdoes not change this fact. PS Provigo ready made sandwiches were fresh and good. $5 each lol and the have fresh veggies and beer too, etc.More

We ride our motorcycles to Gaspe, at the gas station this resto was recommended to us. Excelent all the way, atmosphere, service and specially the qualities of the bouillabaise. Very fresh ingredients! I will highly recommend this resto.

My husband had the fish and chips and I had the bouillabaisse and both were delicious. The only disadvantage of this restaurant is that they have stopped taking reservations so you just have to turn up and hope for the best . They operate a...wait list if they are full and ring you by phone when they have a table for you. You have no idea how long you might have to wait - we were told it might be up to 90 minutes but fortunately they phoned us after only 30.More

We don’t usually go to pubs/taverns but on this occasion most other restaurants were closed. Luckily we booked a table a few hours ahead of time as both levels of the dining room were full. The menu offers much to chose from including a couple...of Asian inspired dishes. We ordered the bolognaise/Caesar salad duo and the kung pao chicken bowl. Both dishes were very good and avoided frites/poutine. The lower dining area seemed noisier than the upper area. The servers that we encountered were both cheerful, helpful and efficient. Although we were not looking forward to a “pub evening”, we very much enjoyed our experience here.More

Good draft beer. The place was busy so we did not get a table with a view, but were next to the kitchen. The fish and chips were good, but quite expensive, but then everything is these days.

We were very happy to meet 3 lovely women on our two visits. They were kind and happy and...the food was great! Loved every moment and we highly recommend this spot!
