It was like the other restaurants without pretention. I'm giving three stars because it was too long to wait for the food to arrive.
If time if money for you, and if you expect to enjoy your day visiting Gaspe, maybe it's not the place...to go.More
This was recommended by the Hotel Plante’s receptionist. It was only 1 block away so walkable & very convenient. It is very clean & well laid out with a menu that has extensive offerings.
It is in both French & English & easy to understand....The staff is bilingual for the most part & works very hard to please you with offering their suggestions. I had the Gaspé Fisherman’s Platter (good variety of fish, scallops, shrimp) along with a nice salad & chips. My wife had double fish & chips. Both meals were hot, large quantity, & great quality. Both were the server’s suggestions & she was 100% right. The meal came quickly as ordered & no problems. Other items on the menu looked very good & a reasonable price point for what you get. Good food, good service @reasonable prices. Would eat here again anytime.More
Nice cozy, homely environment though a bit noisy. I ordered fish and chips which was nice. My wife and kids also ordered other seafood choices. Slightly expensive but worth it. Location is good. Staff is friendly.
Family restaurant old type cafe decor. Servers dress in black and white uniforms. Use to go there 50 years ago. Much the same today. Bilingual servers but they are a little reluctant on speaking English. Food is good much like you would have at home....Menu has a lot of basic items. Service is average. Food served hot. Price is average. Certainly would go back again.More
There was a bit of a line-up when we got there but we were shown to a table quite quickly. It's an old family style restaurant with the mom and pop who have passed on but it's still being run by someone. The food came...quickly which was hot and good sized portions. The place is wheelchair accessible which was why we went there. There is a motel along side of the restaurant which is named Motel Adams!More
