Our family was here several times some years ago and the atmosphere, food and music was great. But this time the food was still goodand the owner is very friendly but the atmosphere of the restaurant was a bit of a let down.

I've never had the opportunity of eating Jamaican food before but this little restaurant is a winner. Gluten free options, we shared two dishes between us plus rice, and were SO full. That was a pity because we would have liked to squeeze in another one.

We stopped here for a quick bite on the way to an event we were attending. They stock my favourite alcoholic ginger beer and also Red Stripe beer (another Jamaican favourite). We wished we could gave stayed and chatted with the wonderful staff longer. The savoury pancake snack we ordered as a take-away was delicious.

This place has plenty of atmosphere, decorated with a whole lot of rasta-ness, and a bit of mood lighting, reggae playing n the background, you almost expect Bob Marley to step out from the kitchen and offer you a spot of kaya. Food-wise, what we had was flavoursome, the fritters we had for entree were delicious, though the main dish... More

Nice environment & good restaurant for a meal, too.Despite the Jamacian theme,I enjoyed the music very much!I mean,I'm not Jamacian by culture but as I enjoy a lot sampling all forms of multi-cultural foods, this is a great place to try if you've not tested out the Jamacian style.

Delicious and hearty dinner. Felt like being in someone's home, not a restaurant which I thoroughly enjoyed as the chef/waiter more than happy to talk about the menu.

We dined here one Thursday evening. The early warning signs were that when we arrived, there was no one there and the owner was next door chatting to his neighbour. He strolled in, with a sandwiches in hand. As he welcomed us (by asking if we wanted the air con on) he unwrapped his sandwich and ate it - in... More

The food here is great, service is casual, with the owner/chef often going through what is on the menu with you. Have visited many times with family, interstate and overseas visitors and always one of the best meals that we or our friends have ever had.

My partner and I eyed up this restaurant as we travelled down the Gold Coast and were glad we came back to it. The waiter/owner is super friendly and goes out of his way to have a chat and talk about the menu. The coconut bread to start is delicious and I'd love the recipe! My fish curry was so... More
