This is a hidden secret. Every time is a memorable experience. They were closed for the season on this trip but we'll be back when in Southport. The BEST steamed shrimp anywhere and dining on the dock in a unique atmosphere.

Located on the water where the Intracoastal Waterway, Cape Fear River and Atlantic Ocean all come together, it's the place to go for a good hamburger or local shrimp and crab cakes. Place your order as you walk in, then help yourself to a soda, beer or wine from the cooler (full bar also available) and find your seat. It... More

My wife and I went there based on a few locals recommendations. It did have a fun atmosphere but the food was not very good at all. The crab cakes seemed like they were factory made and the conch fritters were not cooked properly. When I told my experience to the people who recommended it to me, they stated they... More

My wife and I visited this place during the summer after hearing rave reviews from family and we did not like it. The crab cakes were like from a frozen freezer.

The best place on the water for a fishing village experience. The food is excellent as is the service. This is not an upscale restaurant so don't go there expecting it to be. It is just simply a perfect waterfront eating experience.

This is a "must do" place that is very laid back and low key. No heirs here! Pick up your fresh food and a beverage, and enjoy a No Fluff evening!

My husband and I like to try new restaurants all the time when we visit new places and usually we only eat one time at a place so that we can try other places during our visit. The Provision Company was so good that we ate there for lunch on Friday and went out of the way to go on... More

Very difficult docking with our 44 ft sailing vessel. With help from staff and few customers, we made it. Dinner excellent value. Had seafood platter. Well prepared fried foods. Considering free dockage and good dinner, A1 choice for us.

Get a real feel for NC coastal life. Excellent catches, outdoor seating, great service and nice views of the water.
