Ate there last night at the bar after leaving Crabby Oddwaters in search of a place more our style. The Fried Avocado Bites and Shrimp and Grits were awesome. My friend ordered Shrimp and Scallops and offered me a taste..the Scallops were cooked to perfection!...More

Our first dining experience in Calabash. Our expectations were high. Location, decor, staff, food presentation, prompt service all receive 5 stars. Perhaps the below average rating for the food is partially our fault. We had the local tile fish. It was less than impressive. It...More

We have visited Sunset Beach periodically for about 35 years, and usually have included Twin Lakes on every visit. We had some of the worst service on the visit on April 13 that we have experienced anywhere. The hostess was friendly and seated us quickly...More

Unfortunately, this was an absolutely horrible dining experience. We have been visiting Sunset Beach for more than 30 years. Occasionally, we have eaten at Twin Lakes; and, the food and service were acceptable, but not notable. We decided to try again with 4 others, 2...More

We both got seafood - fried fish tacos and fried shrimp. Both were amazing. The collards were really good as well.

We hadn't been to Twin Lakes for almost a year, even though we live in the area. We dropped by for dinner last week, and the food was excellent. They've expanded their menu way beyond fried fish and hush puppies, and it's all good. If...More

After 46 years, Ronnie and Clarice Holden decided it was time to share their love of Twin Lakes with their friends, The Watkins. In February of 2017 they began the new Twin Lakes By The Sea and it started to evolve into a year round restaurant with a southern flair added to it with some of Alysa's competition winning dishes added to the new menu. Now guests from all over the country can still get the best in Carolina cuisine with the Southern hospitality (coastal style) ...come add a little paradise to your evening at Twin Lakes By The Sea...where sunsets are always complimentary. Come dine on our new outdoor deck! Now open for lunch.
